Today it just so happened to be Mother's Day. Im a mother so my husband took me and my daughter out to Blanco Taco. I really enjoyed the fresh flowers that they had arranged in the inside of the restaurant. I enjoyed the scenery it was okay. We arrived 30 min before closing time. It was in a nice area right at the Galleria Mall. The food was really really really good. It exceeded my expectation. It was very flavorful and delicious at best. Also it was very fresh to My husband enjoyed his beef enchiladas. My daughter got the avocado tacos she raved about them so much to us. I decided on vegetarian caramelized sweet potato enchiladas. Man, they were really good too. The green and the red dips to go with the chips that they put on your table when you first come in. We really didn't like the green one too much. We wish it was creamier and with more flavor the red one was okay. I am giving them four stars instead of five the restaurant was clean they were separating the tables do to covid-19. My only complaint is that I guess because it was late at night and they were near closing my waiter was so into cleaning and doing all of the preparation to close the restaurant and his tables down that he didn't give us as much attention as I felt he should have. Seeing that I am the customer I feel like he should have came to check on us more and I had to keep trying to find them to ask for water refills. I think the service could have been a little bit better considering. Even the fact that it was Mother's Day and I had a child in there so he know I was a mother he should have even you know stated that happy Mother's Day or something just to be more friendlier and more inviting to us since we were inside of the restaurant and we were his customers. His service was not bad but his attention to detail was...

5/5/25 EDIT: I was fortunate enough to be able to return and have a much much better experience - almost unrecognizable the difference. I came on cinco de mayo also, which is a busy day to return. I was personally called to confirm my reservation - seated immediately, and didn’t even wait before the server came to take my drink order. Service was phenomenal!!! We had the watermelon margs (sooo good) and chicken taquitos to start - these were my all time fav. We then ordered the shrimp and chicken fajitas…I will say the only downfall to my visit was portion sizes for price. Each fajita is around $30 and they don’t give you much meat at all….or sides to build. The rice is also just not my cup of tea. The last lack of star was for food to price ratio alone - but this place did a total 180° in my book and I am much more likely to return. Thanks again so much for the new experience!!! ———————————————- This was probably one of the worst taco experiences I’ve ever had. Would you believe this meal cost $50? It was for their “Eat drink HTX” deal too…an overly dressed Caesar salad and only two shrimp tacos with about 3 little pieces of shrimp each. The rice was disgusting and the salsa couldn’t even be a saving grace. The tacos were super messy too with a ton of liquid that came out and ruined the plate and my shirt. They also put the entire cilantro stem in which sucked.

The service was also extremely terrible. I almost got up from the bar after 15 minutes of him and nobody else even greeting me…mind you there was only one other person at the bar and they already had their food. I wish I had bc this all around was a terrible experience. As I left I warned waiting customers. Not sure where the...

In helping my friend plan her birthday trip to Houston and visiting the Galleria we thought this would be a great stop. The menu and the happy hour had us sold. We were able to call ahead and make a reservation for 6 people as we were en route to the restaurant on Thursday evening. My favorite thing I ate was the pastor chicken taco (flour tortilla)! It had so much flavor and I wish I had ordered two. I love carnitas tacos so I ordered that taco as well and it was okay. I feel as if the pork was cooked perfectly but I was thrown off by the whole orange slices inside the taco. I feel as if they should’ve been sliced smaller. But overall I enjoyed my meal and drinks and would go again if I was in the area.

Cons: One of my friends in our party wasn’t crazy about her nachos (she felt the queso was too thick & it was a lot of cheese with the crumble that was already on the nachos). However, the manager (I believe) came over and spoke with her and they were able to remove the item from her bill and allowed her to order something else

Pros: Location. I also loved that they had an abundance of indoor seating and outdoor seating options so we weren’t too close to other parties Very accommodating staff The happy hour menu was extensive and I appreciated having a lot of items to choose from for such a great value. I even more so loved my margaritas I enjoyed having a view of the kitchen and staff preparing meals Our server was great! She answers all of our questions honestly and gave great...
