Very very very upsetting. I went in to get a milkshake, got to the register and it was $6 and change. All I had was a $100 bill and a $5 bill so I had to pay with the $100 bill the line was backed up out the door! My change was supposed to be $94 the lady did not count it back to me witch I thought was odd but the line was so long I just stuck it in my purse and went on. Me and my best friend sat outside the place at a little table talking for almost an hour and then we started to walk to the car we stopped at a little shop called Francesca’s and I went to pay for my item and realized I only had $64 so I immediately went back to the ice cream shop... I had not been anywhere else the money couldn’t have went anywhere! The girl immediately said I gave you the correct change. So they called a manager I am guessing over the phone and the cashier counted the register and said that it was only $10 over and that’s all she could give me... the young lady must have been counting wrong (she was doing it in a hurry hurry hurry) or the girl must had put my 24 $ in her pocket... I got $10 back but I am just overwhelmed.. I should have counted it when she handed it to me! Always count your money! Just thought I would share for you guys to watch out and count your change if she does not count it back to you. I work all the time and save my money and this has got...
Read moreThis was my first time ordering an icecream cake from Marble Slab/Maggie Moo's. I requested pickup for today, June 17, 2022 at 11:15 am. The cake was for my daughter's birthday. I arrived at Bridge St. At 11:05 since the whole place opens at 11:00 am. When I got to the store, there were already a few families waiting outside. I thought that they were just relaxing on the seats but when I went to open the door, I found that it was locked. One of the couples said, "No one is there." The families left soon after that. 11:15 rolls around and still no one. My daughter and I walk around the mall for a few minutes but it's 95 degrees and too miserable. I called the number listed but no one answered. We end up sitting in front of the store and waiting. While I'm waiting I start looking up alternative stores that sell ice cream cakes since it looks like no one is showing up. At 11:45, a man walks past us, unlocks the door, walks in and locks it behind him. A few minutes later he opens the door, pokes his head out and says "Ya'll just picking up a cake? Cuz I can't make ice cream." I said yes and he let's us in, finds the cake and hands it to me. No, "Sorry for the wait", "We're understaffed" or anything. I havent even tried the ice cream cake yet but I won't be returning...
Read moreFirst off we waited for about 35 minutes, it was 1 worker by herself on a Saturday evening she looked about 17 and she was nervous there should've been a manager on duty or at least another employee to help her because it was packed. My husband had a mask on when we entered after standing for 20 minutes he removed it because the gentleman in front of us didn't have a mask at all the young lady served him with no hesitation she didn't inquire if he had a mask, when we approached the counter she immediately told my husband she couldn't serve him without a mask so he put his mask back on then he decided he didn't want anything so he moved to the exit and removed the mask she then stated he needed to step outside and he did. I'm all for protocol and I understand she has rules to follow but if you do it for one then do it for all and I hate to say it but the gentleman in front of us was white and my husband is black. I allowed my children to get their ice cream because I made them wait and I was disappointed because I waited all day for my sweet treat, and but I can't spend my money in places like this, so 3 scoops...
