The Sage Grille — Restaurant in Huntsville

Been going here for years. Nothing matches anymore. The menu hasn’t changed, but the food quality has definitely gotten worse. The chicken is so dry, do not order. The new night manager is rude. Was being rude to our server right in front of our table in an open dining room. The cafe as the oldest equipment leaving you waiting a year for a coffee. The Westin has gone way down hill. We’ll be staying at The Jefferson from now on. Sad to see such a beautiful place turned into a perfume filled spot with employees that are clearly on drugs and hate their job. We ate here on a Saturday night and were the only ones at 6:00. There were some at the bar. Renovations are in the process so not much to look at for the moment but I have to say our meal and service was excellent. The salads were great with the dressing on the side. We had the 6oz fillet mignon which was cooked perfectly. Even my son who is pretty picky on how his is cooked was very pleased! I had the mushroom risotto and asparagus. Both had fantastic flavor. We got a Apple pastry dessert with ice cream, Carmel drizzle, a dollop of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. A perfect finish! My husband and i went here for an after party following our wedding. Matt the restaurant and bar/ night manger went above and beyond to accommodate us! He put us on the list for early check in, he kept the kitchen open for our party (food and drinks were great), champagne with chocolate and rose pedals were left in our room as a surprise (which made our night after a let down at the wedding venue earlier).
