McDonald's — Restaurant in Hurst

I've come here several times against my better judgement. So I feel that I have enough experience with this location to leave a review. The food is always fast but rushed. Wrapped poorly, order either wrong or incomplete. The coffee is HORRIBLE even after trying to doctor it up with several packets of sugar and creamer. It's a hit or miss with the politeness of the staff. Some have made me drive off and go to the other MCDONALD'S near the mall because I was so appalled by their behaviour. Others have made me hope that they get a better job elsewhere because their customer service was better than the location where they worked. I came here today only because the location on Central in Bedford was partially closed and my kids wanted yo go to a play area. Highly disappointed with their new play area. The kids complained that it wasn't as nice as the other ones and the top level was not entertaining. They spent their time on the table tablet instead. What prompted me to do the review was that they did not have the heat on and the room was ice cold in the middle of February!!! When I enquired about it, I was told by a staff member that the manager was not turning on the heat in here. Perhaps they were trying to save money on their electric bill? Maybe if they hadn't closed it off so much from the main restaurant, the heat from the kitchen would've helped with that. Instead they propped the door open with a chair possibly thinking the room would get warm? Too many huge windows and not enough insulation for that. Not to mention that the room although brand new was dirty with food and napkins on the floor and tables not wiped. This is not acceptable considering they weren't busy. I order a big mac and large French fries $9.63 got home open the bag there's no big mac and large French inside it some cheap shiittt like 5 a little piece chicken nugget and small fry I when back talked to supervisor she asks if I need refund or reorder same foods I said food but a while I standing waiting for my food a employee Mexican dude he making fun of me and pretend throwing something in my foods bag I'm not sure what he put in there so I right away change my mind to get refund instead because they probably spit on my foods somehow my refund only got $9.09 back it was the price 9.63 and I gave the dude 10 buck no take change back it fine but at least I should get 9.63 back if not 10 buck. The young black lady supervisor she very nice but too nice even she seeing and heard everything her employees making fun of me she doesn't says anything all she did say sorry and apologize to me I told her I will file a complaint to your store because I caught everything the dude vices and actions in phone camera I hope this supervisor fire this dude and give him to Trump depot him back to where he come from its seems like he speaking a little English but talking in Spanish the whole time laughing dancing like careless about jobs. If she fired this dude I forgive and forget not going to sue this store I will go check again see if this dude gone or still here i also own the restaurant a few blocks from this store. 2025-05-14 Over and over, this location can not make sweet tea. Today, the lobby canister labeled "sweet tea" was actually UNsweet.... yet again. They made a new batch, and it was ALL sweet and no tea. (Mind you, they even tasted it and agreed) So they made yet another batch, and it came out nearly clear. Like water.

• You guessed it, it tasted like water. So let's count.. 1- in the lobby=BAD 1-New batch=BAD 1-New batch=BAD 1-Drive thru batch=BAD That's 4 chances in 30 minutes to get it right. The short little manager looked at me like it was my fault. She even tasted it and said it was OK. She needs to go back to training class for customer service, personel accountability, quality control and to understand how to smile. (She NEVER smiles. Look, if you're not happy where you work, why fight it? Go somewhere that makes you happy 😊) This location, at the time of this particular review, has a 3.7 out of 5 rating.

It makes me wonder how people feel when they get home and their tea tastes like brown water or diabetic shock water. Quality Control is severely failing here. ≈===========================
