Panda Express — Restaurant in Hutchinson

I used to go to this store often. Pretty decent food for fast food Chinese. Tonight I went and got a Bigger Plate. The gal packed my Teriyaki Chicken in a separate little box. When I got home the teriyaki sauce had made it in the bag but not the chicken. I called (several times because no one was answering the phone) and told the gal that answered what happened. She said if I want to come back now I can get the chicken. I told her I didn't want to drive back 5 miles for it and then 5 miles back home so could they make a note and I'll just get the chicken the next time I'm in. Mind you, I'm only asking for the chicken not the whole meal. She tells me they can't do that because they got in trouble for that before because ppl take advantage. I ask for other options and she says there are none. So, I ask her if I have this straight...I can come get the chicken now and they'll believe it was a mistake and give me the chicken but if I don't want to drive back now they won't give me the chicken because I might be lying. I ordered seven meals. Three of which were not complete and tasted horrendous. The kids meal I got was a chicken teriyaki with noodles and broccoli. It didn’t come with any chicken and the noodles had no sauce and were tough while the broccoli was overcooked and discolored. The second meal was a chow mein, broccoli beef, and Beijing beef, but it didn’t come with any broccoli beef and the Beijing beef was hard enough the fork couldn’t go through most of the pieces. The last meal was chow mein, orange chicken and honey walnut chicken. The orange chicken was hard and tasted terrible, like something irregular was mixed with the sauce.

When I entered, one employee said they were slow during the time I put in the order and that they were waiting on fresh broccoli, which apparently never came because we didn’t get any fresh broccoli.

I also noticed that there was a large spill of something in front of the drink fountain and the area where the utensils and napkins were at was dirty and disgusting.

Beijing beef was overdone, crab rangoons lacked the normal creamy flavor and were salty, fried rice was cooked well and had a good amount of egg which we liked but almost zero flavor, honey sesame chicken was alright but still lacked enough flavor, Kung pao chicken was probably the best thing we had flavor and cook-wise, but still nothing special (it's the spiciest dish they have according to them, but it will not be spicy enough for spice lovers). Lo mein was HORRIBLE. Dry and flavorless. I don't know if dogs would eat it.
