Avoid at all costs! This is a 0 star situation if it was possible. We came here for lunch for my husband's birthday. It was about 2 pm when we got there and there was maybe 2 other tables seated. The place reeked of cleaning chemicals because they had left all of the cleaning supplies out all over the place near the hostess station. Broom and pan, soaked, nasty rags, and the spray bottle of cleaning solution. It was headache inducing and nauseating. We were seated immediately just because we were one of the few people actually there. The hostess barely said a word and just looked bored and over it. The server came over and took our drink order. I ordered a Pepsi (didn't realize they had coke products) and he came back to ask if I wanted something else and listed off a bunch options from memory. He was very nice and polite but way over worked because he was waiting and bartending. He forgot to take our food order due this problem as well. There were 2 other guys there that apparently just couldn't be bothered working and left everything to the guy serving us. My husband finally got his attention and let him know we hadn't given our food order and the guy was very apologetic and got our order in before taking off again. When our food came out it wasn't even mediocre. It was just awful. They cooked my husband's steak wrong (too well done), the appetizer we got was the Texas Cheese fries and they were dried out, bland, and over salted. The fries were definitely freezer burnt prior to being cooked. The chili I added on was absolutely tasteless but incredibly spicy. My son's pizza looked like it had been microwaved to be heated up at best. I ordered one of the quesadillas and it hadn't even been cooked correctly. It seemed like it had been microwaved as well and then stuck under a salamander to get dried out. The tortilla had absolutely no color like it would if it had touched a pan. Over all just a horrible disappointing experience. Especially for a birthday outing. Our nice waiter was the definitely the best part but unfortunately he couldn't make up forbthe failings of the restaurant overall and the obvious lack of care on the part of management and...
Read moreFirst off this was our first date night in quite a while ( Myself and my wife). We walked in the door, no employee in sight. We waited 10 min to be seated ( not very busy at the time we arrived). Once we were acknowledged we were seated and ordered drinks. We then ordered our appetizers and main courses. Our food came out at the same time as our appetizers. I ordered a medium rare burger. When i cut into the burger it was cooked closer to medium well. I sent it back and asked again for medium rare. The replacement burger came out cooked the same as the first. I refused the burger at which time the General Manager came out and spoke with us. To be honest she appereared to be a tad bit snooty. She informed me that Chili's requires burger to be cooked to a minimum internal temperature but she could have the steak cooked as requested. When i pointed oit the menu says burgers "may be cooked to order" she said that the way she "understands" Chili's policy is how she runs her restaurant. I again stated what the menu clearly says, the GM told me she will get with her boss but he is in Montana and it will have to wait. They comped my burger which i wasnt going to eat anyways. I ended up paying 30 dollars (after the tip to my waitress) and went away from the restaurant hungry. I will never eat at another chilis location based on the GMs "understanding" of policy, and the unacceptable behavior of said GM. Date Night was ruined, THANK YOU CHILI'S. I gave them 2 stars because our waitress Brandi was amazing and really did try her best. Other than Brandi this experience was completely and unequivocally horrible.
P.S. My wife said the shrimp tacos were...
Read moreThere were four adults eating. One ordered the bacon BBQ Burger. When he got it it had everything on it that a hamburger would would have and mayonnaise there was no barbecue sauce at all. The waitress went back to get barbecue sauce and you could hear her yelling at the Kooks which is very weird. When she came back with the barbecue sauce he I decided he just wanted a whole new burger because he had to scrape off all the mayonnaise and all that stuff on there that he did not want. She went to tell the kitchen to just do a whole new you bacon BBQ Burger. So when she went back to the kitchen to get it to bring it out you could then hear the cooks yelling and screaming does that look right is that okay does it have enough barbecue sauce on it blah blah blah blah blah care. Very strange event to have happen. We used to eat at Chili's all the time in Texas when we were living there and when we came here we didn't even know there was Chili's here until just recently. So we decided to go there cuz it was our son's birthday and he was getting a free dessert and there was hardly anybody in the chili so it wasn't like they should have been rushed and to hear them arguing back and forth in the kitchen because somebody had done something wrong so unprofessional in our opinion. Not sure if I ever try to go back or not we're kind of sitting on the line...
