I’ve been coming to this GH for years and after today, I think it’s time to call it quits.
I came with a friend today for an after work snack. My friend is unfamiliar with the GH menu and had lots of questions for the cashier. At one point the cashier said to the people waiting behind us “I’m sorry it’s taking so long” right in front of us. Very unprofessional to say in front of the customers you’re currently serving. It made my friend feel like a burden and she told me later that it embarrassed her.
When it was my turn to order I noticed that pumpkin spice was on the menu board under hot chocolate. I excitedly asked for that and the cashier said “sorry we don’t have pumpkin spice in yet.” Why on earth do you have it on the menu if you don’t have it in yet??? Now I’m the one who feels embarrassed. I ended up ordering a wildflower hot chocolate and a lemon blueberry cheesecake. While the cashier wasn’t verbally unkind, you could tell she was just done helping my friend and I.
I’m also so done with not having prices displayed on the baked goods. Almost $7 for a cheesecake bar?? My gosh. I would have backed out of it but I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of the cashier…again. Paid $11 for a small hot chocolate and a slice of cheesecake. I understand that I can choose to not spend the money but I never would have ordered it had the price been displayed.
When we tried to find a place to sit ALL of the tables were dirty. We picked the one table that was least dirty. And the floors were just filthy. Such a let down today. But per usual, the bread was delicious and it’s still the...

We stopped by Great Harvest Bakery in Idaho Falls for breakfast and to grab some sandwiches for the road, and we were so glad we did! While we waited, they gave us a slice of their berry bread, which was moist, flavorful, and honestly, one of the best things we’ve tasted—it was a perfect little treat.
For breakfast, we ordered two sandwiches: egg, bacon, and avocado, which could be customized however you like. They were both fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. We also got two regular sandwiches to go: I had the turkey pesto on sourdough, and my partner got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was served warm. Both were delicious, with the house-made bread really standing out. The variety of bread they offer is impressive!
We couldn’t resist trying their salted caramel oatmeal cookies, and they turned out to be the best treat of our entire vacation. Soft, chewy, and packed with flavor—if you go, don’t leave without getting a pack!
Even though the place was packed, the service was quick and friendly. The cold brew was solid too, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in...
Read morePretty disappointed. Went in on a Saturday at noon and the bread store was out of wheat and white bread. 3 customers came in just in the few minutes I was there for the same thing to be told they just didn’t make “much” today. Then an older couple who told the girl at the counter it was their first time here asked for clam chowder that the website showed was Saturdays special and she told them they didn’t have that today. When they told her the website said that they did,she responded with “well we might have made it but we’re out if we did” and instead of suggesting anything else or apologizing for the mistake on the website (or even asking anyone about it to prevent further disappointments) she let them gather their things they had sat down at the table and leave without a single word. It wasn’t busy, there should have been more efforts made- can almost promise this older couple will never be back and if a bread store doesn’t have wheat and white bread at noon on a Saturday... not sure I...
