This is and has been a long standing favorite food spot for me. #1 sandwiches are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE food #2 Bagels are my very very favorite form of bread to use for sandwiches. Now, you just cannot beat the insanely HIGH quality of every single ingredient they use at Blue Sky, the variety is out of this world and the possibilities are endless especially if you are creative and also perhaps adventurous? Either way I can guarantee that their food is absolutely bomb! 100(if not infinite)/10 stars ✨ easily Thank you guys for consistently being amazing, everyone that works there is so incredibly kind and nice and helpful. It is always clean as heck in there and the atmosphere is a very comfortable and perfect for a multifunctional sandwich/bagel restaurant that does also serve some other stuff. I got the parmesan bagel build your own sandwich with the garden veggie cream cheese and full servings of both ham and turkey making it a club sort of minus bacon because I don't like bacon don't come for me I don't like bacon! Sprouts and tomato also on this bad boy and I did get it toasted because why not? My mother got the pastrami breakfast sandwich, and we also got the chocolate peanut butter cookies and everything is just absolutely top-notch!

LOVE the bagels, BUT we get so grossed out at the idea of the ceilings, vents, and light fixtures coated in thick coats of dark dust getting in the food. We’ve decided because of this we won’t be going anymore…it seems like a health hazard everywhere you look and should probably be reviewed by a health inspector. This is clearly months or even years of buildup that haven’t been touched and it looks worse every time we go. We even saw some grill looking trays in the back through the window that had so much buildup on them thick particles of built up bake were hanging off of them. They looked like they never got regularly cleaned. You can see on the lights there’s a thick sheet of dust and on the ceilings is an even thicker dark layer of guck that blows when the AC or Heat is on and one day it’s bound to detach from the ceiling/vents and get into food. It’s even worse in person, these pictures truly don’t do it justice. We absolutely love their bagels, but can’t help but think they’ve not been reviewed for food safety anytime recently because this is so obvious and gross. Begging you to pleaseee clean this place and next time you’re there…don’t look up šŸ˜…

A must stop for breakfast or lunch for the whole family. Nothing quite hits the spot like a perfectly crafted bagel sandwich, made to your specifications. Summer or winter. Doesn't matter. Nothing will bring that taste of joy into your day like a bagel from Blue Sky. The bagel artists behind the counter are great there and never fail to create to perfection. Try one of their breakfast bagels anytime of the day or break into the roast beef bagel toasted with some Swiss to start your day. They make great lattes, plenty of flavoring choices to add as well for anyone's taste. Add a cup of the daily hot soup to eat solo or dip your bagel into and wash it down with the rotating kombucha on tap. Located on main street in beautiful downtown Boise. It's a must stop for anyone traveling or local. Don't let the long line scare you away. Even with an 8 and 6 year old the line moves fast enough for their little patience. Remember your punch card for their bagel sandwich too. Don't want to miss building up to your well deserved free bagel sandwich!

First visit here so first impressions review. May be updated later after subsequent visits. I had high hopes as there are many positive reviews on this site but unfortunately I did not have a great experience. I believe that service and cleanliness were good but the problem was the variety of offerings. If this place specializes in bagels then they need to add several diverse menu items that are not offered at other places. No pumpernickel bagels? No whipped tofu? (This is for the vegan people). No olive cream cheese? Also the bagel was thin, barely toasted, and had a minimal amount of cream cheese. Coffee was just okay. Only one type of creamer available or was that simply milk? They should offer oat or soy options. Also sugar selection was minimal at best. It doesn't cost anymore to stock stevia packets. Something that happened after my order that was not the restaurant's fault was when I went to sit in the outdoor seating area and as soon as I opened the door I was accosted by a homeless woman. I immediately turned around and sat inside. I never thought this would happen in Boise!

Still not a hit for me. Line moved very slowly even though there were quite a few employees, who were pleasant and helpful. Glad for the parking! Still not a very diverse selection of bagels, smears, add-ons, and wish a breakfast sausage was available. Bagels are okay for Boise, I guess, but the bacon-scallion cream cheese had very little flavor and imperceptible amounts of bacon/scallions. Coffee was extremely weak and watered down and only regular milk provided, no cream, no skim, no milk-alternatives. The ordering system is worse than Starbuck's. I placed my large order with modifications at the first counter, where they wrote it all down. Great! Now on to the register where I had to repeat every word again. Listen, I haven't gotten my coffee yet, why are you making me do this again? I know they are trying to get everyone through quickly, but there needs to be a better system, perhaps the first person can type or have a copy for the register? I agree with others that Sarah's Bagels is much better. They will have all of my business now. Fly...
