I LOVE CUPS COFFEE BAR! When i say i love cups, i mean I LOVE CUPS! With a convenient downtown location, an amazingly friendly staff and some delicious fresh brewed coffee cups is my one stop shop for a wonderful coffee shop experience. I visit almost every morning thats how much i enjoy this place! As mentioned, all of the staff at cups are friendly and the way they treat customers is a true reflection of grace's (one of the owners) attitude! The coffee selection is huge! They brew several different kinds a day and the list is always changing! A few of my favorites are vanilla nut, cinnamon hazelnut and frangelica but they are all tasty! Dont be afraid to ask for a sample taste, they are more than willing to accomodate! If you dont like coffee, they have a nice selection of teas and refreshers as well as regular sodas and water. They have all of the specialty drinks that you would expect to see at a coffee shop including mochas, lattes and blended drinks so there is definitely something for everyone! Did i mention they have food? They have breakfast food (pastries, muffins, bagels) they have lunch food (soups, sandwhiches) and they have snacks (protien bars, granola bars, yogurt, fresh fruit and veggies/dip). If you visit, try one of their amazing muffins warmed up! You wont be sorry! Overall, cups is great place to stop for a morning pick me up. I have not had a single bad experience here and i love that this is a local business. Shop local and...
Read moreI stopped by Cups coffee shop while waiting on the bank to open. Before ordering, I asked the baristas where I could wash my hands. You’d think I had asked them to explain quantum physics. Blank faces. One finally says: “Nowhere.”
So I repeat myself: “Where do people wash their hands?” Their response? “People don’t wash their hands, they just come from work to get coffee.”
Oh. So hygiene is optional now? Viewpoint
I go upstairs, ask the front desk, and boom bathroom located in 30 seconds. Came back downstairs, tried to help by telling them where it was so next time they’d actually have an answer. And what do I get? A shoulder-slipping-off-her-jacket Gen Z barista mumbling: “It’s not our job.”
I’m sorry…not your job? Since when is pointing to a bathroom a violation of your barista contract? Y’all can froth milk but not direct someone to a sink? That’s did not feel like customer service more along the lines of customer sabotage.
If your brand identity is lattes with a side of laziness, congrats...
Read more4-26-2022 I ended up getting a Grande (20oz.) Caramel Sensation with oatmilk and it tastes phenomenal! The end price was $6.10 so if you want a higher priced coffee then this is your way to go. I just got this because it was the closest and I wanted to try something new, defnitely not disappointed. Staff was very friendly. Enter off the Illinois side and you’ll find it right inside the doors. They do have two service desks I presume for help, they are very nice also. The little hole in the wall shop was very well...
