Café 251 — Restaurant in Indianapolis

My husband had an appointment at the University Hospital. Indianapolis is approximately 2 1/2 hours from home and we did not want to be a minute late. Therefore we were over an hour early. We asked a man doing electrical work around the corner from you where we might get a cup of coffee. When we entered your cafe, employees were setting up for breakfast. We said we were willing to wait until they were finished getting set up. One of the men stopped setting up, took our order, made a very tasty breakfast sandwich and coffee. He was accommodating, cheerful and we didn't feel like we were a burden. It was like he was expecting us! Hahahahaha! What a great experience. You all were amazing! And you were right! First time eating here and I am not disappointed staff was friendly noticed they knew a lot of customers by name the manager or owner was pleasant and had good energy the customer service was a 10 out of 10 got a breakfast sandwich and the understood every part of the assignment the bread didn't over power the sandwich bacon was cooked nicely and they wasn't stingy with it I love the fact it didn't feel like I was eating another I wish sandwich I wish I could taste more than bread I wish I it wasn't so dry and bland or I wish i never came here I will definitely be back here tho every chance I get to try other...

I came across Cafe 251 through google maps, just browsing for lunch. The location isn't quite as convenient as I hoped, but it's perfect for those who work in the same building. The soups are amazing! This week I tried the Chicken Velvet and Chicken con Queso, both amazing. 10/10 for the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Broccoli Salad. Delicious.
