We visited the five guys restaurant located at Strip Avenue North Canton Ohio at 2:00 this afternoon. We approached the counter to place our order and were asked to please put a mask on. We stated to the young man that we had health issues that prohibited us to wear a mask. He proceeded on to take our order. We paid for our order and intended to have a seat to eat. While waiting for our order a gentleman walked up and stated please don't shoot the messenger but I will have to ask you to stand outside and I will bring you your order because you don't have masks on. We let him know that due to our health condition we would not be able to wear masks but we wanted to sit down to eat. He asked us for paper documentation to prove this. Now at this point with everybody watching us and being embarrassed we told him that under no circumstances are we obligated to divulge what our health issues are. We decided to get a refund and not support this business. Justin was very unprofessional and obviously not prepared correctly by this company to handle the exceptions to this mandate. We demand some form of restitution for the embarrassment as well as being...
Read moreWe will NEVER, eat at Five Guys again. If I could do zero stars, I would. Our experience is similar to the last review, except we were ACTUALLY WEARING masks and this Still was not good enough. My wife and I had our masks just below our nose, still touching our nose. We have health issues kindly explained to the clerk, he told us we had to have our masks on "properly", above our noses. He got his manager, made a scene. We finally declined to ear there, inside or outside. Others waiting for their food had their masks down, others inside eating were not wearing masks. If we have our masks touching our nose, we are actually placing ourselves at risk of infection, not infecting others. If they would do some research, they might understand. Actually, as many know the masks don't work at all, yet we want to be kind and wear them for others. The clerk and manager heckled us on our way out. We will NEVER step foot inside a Five Guys again, there are many places to eat a burger. We will vote with our dollars and not patronize this place. We have Never been treated like this at any other store or restaurant...
Read moreFood was really fresh, there was peanuts that she could get at your freewill while you waited for your number to be called they were quite busy when we went did not like the fact that the staff got cocky and rude when I told them I did not want to bun because they do offer bowls for people if they don't want the bun however they will ask you if it's for an allergy of some sort. Which personally I do not think is honestly there business I should be able to eat it the way I want to and request for it to be made. They do have cajun fries and regular french fries you do have to specify if you want the menu is a little pricey however you do get unlimited free toppings for the burger aspect of it they will not give you side dishes for your fries like cheese or whatever so do not ask. It is handicap accessible parking is available it is tight and still limited to certain amount. I did like that aspect that they do offer fresh never-frozen patties and all their ingredients are fresh. But that is the only thing that had stood out. Would I go back know there's nothing that entices me to...
