Suhko Thai is a well priced Thai restaurant, and the best tasting in my opinion. The food is always quick to come out and made fresh, though you'd be better served going elsewhere if you're only looking for a sushi lunch. The family that owns it is great; they're always attentive at the host station and polite as can be. Where Suhko really shines is their non-sushi menu, from tasty Tom Yum to spicy drunken noodles, every item has those Thai flavors you're looking for. The lunchbox options are a personal favorite as you get a menagerie of items and flavors for under 10 dollars with a guarantee to fill you up. The miso soup is literally the best miso in the city, greatly outshining any Japanese restaurant. If you're a spice head, be sure to make it very clear that you want real spice, their listed "spicy" items tend to do little more than tingle the tongue a bit. Overall a good experience for the price if you're a fan...
Read moreI was so surprised to see that this restaurant offers so many Gluten free options, the staff let me know that they cook your Gluten free order separately as well!
I started out with the lemon grass salad that come with my meal, it was simple but the flavor was so refreshing! Next we had my appetizer, I ordered the Veg. Vietnamese Spring Rolls that came with a plum dipping sauce. I'd never had a plum sauce before and it was very good and had an unique flavor. For me the best part of the meal was my CRISPY Honey chicken and basil fried rice (it's so hard to find GF crispy chicken so this was so satisfying for me, I do wish they offered the crispy chicken with more options)
The staff were really nice and answered all of my questions about the menu, the restaurant itself was very quiet, calm and had more of a dimmed intimate setting.
I will very likely become a regular here for their...
Read moreNo social distancing whatsoever, so if you are concerned with close proximity in a restaurant, stay home. The food was good, no complaints there, but I suggest ordering takeout. We specifically asked to be seated away from other patrons when we were taken to a booth surrounded by others, which the hostess/waitress did agree to. Then as we were eating, more people came in to eat and were seated on either side of us, no booths left empty in between like we would have expected during a raging pandemic. I'm not sure what the specific guidelines are for restaurants, but we were very uncomfortable with how they were seating people when there was plenty of other seats. It also took forever to get our card back after we paid, so we had to sit another 10 minutes next to other partrons, which only made us more upset. We will...
