First-time order after 7/5/25 activity: around 1 AMordered the Mix & Match Platter, (salad, rice, hummus, and 2 protein skewers) and 2 bottled waters. The wait time was fair considering a few orders were ahead of me.
The “platter" was a foam tray inside a basic plastic bag. Visually, the food didn’t match the typical appeal expected from a Mediterranean cuisine for $25. I overheard one staff member was complaining about being tired and she wasn't coming to stay open to 2 AM. Other people behind us commented about overhearing another staffer say some protein and water were running low.
I received 2 overcooked proteins (lamb and beef), w/ no skewer as described. There were about 2 tablespoons of rice. The humus was scarce. The "salad" included a few chopped tomatoes and zucchini (I think).
Although Google is listed to be open until 2 AM, turn off the kitchen seemed to be rushing to shut down & wrap up multiple orders at one time.
Verdict: I was attracted to the beachside location in the holiday weekend crowd. I appreciate they were open late & the waitress was polite. The underwhelming presentation did not reflect the pricing. First impressions and quality are very impactful. My wife and i might return to try a gyro, but next time, we'll ask more questions.

Read moreThis is easily the best Greek food I’ve ever had and I am Greek. We used to love visiting Nik the Greek restaurant in Mayport or but they closed years ago and there hasn’t been anything around the beaches to replace them…until now. We ordered a lamb shawarma pita wrap, a regular Greek salad (which was quite large), dolmades, and pita triangles with taziki. The taziki is out of this world, best I’ve had. The pita are fried so they get crispy in spots and still warm and soft in others, sooooo good! The dolmades (grape leaves) were also fantastic and again, the best I’ve had, very large portion too. The lamb inside the pita was so tender that it could be cut with a fork. Once we finished our lunch we went back to the counter to order some baklava, figured if the food was that great it would be too and we were right, the baklava was excellent. I make my own but honestly, theirs is better. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the food. It was all terrific! The food truck is parked in the old Amoco fuel station, around the corner from Huguenot park and the beach. There is only one picnic table, but as I said the beach and park are just an easy walk away. Plenty of parking too. I’ll be telling everyone I know about this new Greek gem. I’m just thrilled...
Read moreI was in line lastnight at the food truck behind the lady of the last review and everything she said is petty and wrong. To demean a small business owner's look and blast it on Google is disgusting behavior. She was mad they were busy and didn't give her attention immediately. She stormed off talking about reviewing the establishment and I made an account to combat it. Atleast try the food. I've been coming here for months once I come out of mangos bar for the best gyro I've ever had. He always uses gloves, is attentive, quick and everything is fresh. If you have a chance to visit late night after the bars and need a life saving bite of food this is the place to go. Don't listen to Stephanie. He wasn't even the one cooking, just takiny orders! She lives off negativity. Support...
