So we come to this location every few weeks. They were awesome every single time up until this last visit on 6/23. I have 2 kids under 2 my husband was with me, we walked up to the line and this young guy was standing there just staring at us. He acted like he wasn't ready to help us and made it really awkward. I finally asked him and he said "what do you want?" At the same time a guy in a plaid shirt with a beard was taking temp. First of all I work in food service my self and I thought maybe you sanitize the thermometer after each different food because of cross contamination and food allergies...... just saying. He was wiping it off on a dry rag and re- tempted other things. He also could of clearly helped this young guy who is new obviously and had no idea what he was doing. There were lots of complications with the order when it was pretty simple. I got chicken nachos and the kid put 1 scoop of everything I had asked and it wasn't close to what you get for what we pay. Another young lady had caught it at the end and instead of teaching him she just threw more cheese in it and called it good. The young kid had asked the manager prior while making a quesadilla how to make nachos and I don't think the manager even knows how to explain or teach after what was given to me. It was a terrible experience. It was painful to see the struggle in the communication between your team members and the processes of how my food is being handled as well as quality of what I get for my money. I thought Qdoba had better standards but if that's the way the company is shifting I will no longer consider coming to any...
Read moreThe food and the atmosphere were great. However, my husband and I placed our order through the app (from our car in the parking lot) so that we could use a reward for a free entrée. First problem...you shouldn't force customers who have app rewards to have to use the app to place an order to use the rewards...customers should be able to show the app reward to the cashier when they go through the line to pay for their food.
After having placed our order via the app, we walked into the restaurant and found a clean table. We sat and watched the staff prepare food for people who came after us...even people who came in 10 minutes after us. It seemed that in-person orders were taking precedence to any online/app orders even thought our order was in queue before many of the in-person customers were even in line at the counter. I could see the guy behind the counter starting to make my quesadilla and then it was another 5 minutes or so before the young man even started to make my husband's bowl...all the while, my quesadilla is getting cold. Another in-person customer comes in the door and I see the young man put my husband's bowl on hold while he prepares the in-person customer's food. I finally went up to the counter and asked about it and was told that our order was going to be finished next. Another 3 minutes passes before we finally get our food.
All of this could have been avoided if we could have just ordered our food at the counter and shown our app reward to the cashier. Please considering changing your practice for...
Read moreI have to say, I was so excited to try QDOBA for the first time after being a huge fan of chipotle… and what a disappointment.. It wasn’t even the food itself that was disappointing, it was the service. First off nobody there had a good attitude, when I was telling the lady what I wanted she proceeded to put ‘Just enough’ rice inside the bowl where it barely coated the bottom and then when I asked for double black beans she questioned me on it and gave me a look. Towards the end I told the young man I had signed up for rewards and i had a QR to scan for free chips and queso, he told me to scan the code and then gave me the receipt with no chips and queso, I asked him about it and he said he didn’t know I wanted chips and queso even though I showed him my code… not sure what he scanned then?? He then proceeded to argue with me and say I should’ve told him because now he has to redo everything and proceeded to hit the screen aggressively, then yelled at his coworkers to just give me the chips and queso because his screen was frozen while he huffed and puffed because he was upset. Keep in mind I brought 4 other people with me who were trying this for the first time but had experience ordering with chipotle so we all knew exactly how it worked. Terrible service, and the amount of food we got for the price was laughable. I was so excited for this to...
