Mineral Lounge is always a favorite! Its location is wonderful, directly across from the Kauffman Center, so it’s perfect for dining before or after a performance. The staff is kind and gracious, and always accommodating. Kris crafts excellent cocktails, and his care and attention to detail is apparent in every drink that arrives to the table. We love the Mediterranean plates! I especially really crave the dolmas and their delicious crudos. As a parent of a child that goes to Rockhurst High School, I’m grateful for their community involvement and their contributions to our holiday choir concerts. Could not recommend Mineral highly enough - you will love the comfortable sofas in their lounge. Perfect place to relax and enjoy great food and awesome service.

This is a little gem of a stop before seeing a show at the nearby Kauffman Center. My wife and I went to see the Swan Lake and Mineral Lounge created a few items inspired by the ballet. We ordered the apps Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta, Smoked Salmon Flatbread and Moroccan Carrot Salad, and they were all so delicious. On drinks: my wife ordered the Roman Holiday which was a non-alcoholic drink; she loved it and finished it really quick! I got the Siegfried's Party Punch and this cocktail was excellent! A shout-out to the fantastic bartender Kris, picture below. Overall, a great experience at ML!

I am definitely going to go back, with different expectations, and hopefully I'll have a better impression the second time around. I just felt like everything was juuuust missing. We had cocktails and snacks. We were the only ones there, which doesn't help the experience. But I do love the ambience. Parking is street parking. The entrance is semi-accessible. There's tables and soft seating, so it's a good setting for small or larger groups, and also I'd imagine this would be accessible.

Let me start off by saying the service is great. Our servers are so kind, and even when they're slammed we don't mind waiting 5 extra minutes for our drinks.

Great atmosphere as well, with phenomenal cocktails and a great wine selection.

However, the food is subpar at best. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt in that department after restaurant week (their supplier couldn't make it through the snow storm, so their menu became very limited). This time, we ordered 4 different plates and felt that they were not worth the price they were charging. The lamb kofta was overcooked, the dolmas tasted the same as the ones you buy in a can at Trader Joes, the ceviche had no flavor to it, and their take on bruschetta left something to be desired as well.

Great place to go for the drinks and atmosphere, I just personally don't...

Quite surprised of this little gem!! Perfect for anyone spending the night at the Kaufman centre ( before or after event ) or anuone that wants a relaxing evening withg very good food and wine. Ambience is sober and relaxing yet sitlish, as lounge should be, strong music expectations and loud crowds are for bars and other venues. Wine menu , as european, i was happy to find it intreguing with a good wine selction with some classic names and some surprise ( got a greek wine that paired very well with the seviche ). They had a rustic bread to die for! Please do not use the focaccia is good but unimpressive the bread is much better! Staff nice a polite and really...
