This was the biggest disappointment to our KC trip. We got here just before 8, they are supposed to be open until 11. The host sat us as soon as we walked in. It took a minute for anyone to come by the table and when they did it was the manager who was with the owner at a table behind us. He brough plates, menus and said Shelby would be our server. After a few minutes with still no Shelby the manager came again and got our drink orders, told us they were closing at 8 to have the ovens replaced that night and we got in just in time. We offered to get ours to go but he insisted we were fine. When he brough the drinks we placed our pizza order, General Tsos pizza and fried ravioli. At this point Shelby had walked by several times and was not having any intentions of serving our table, just some looks of disgust. Shelby did flirt with another table in the dining room as she got his order, he had been there when we came in. It seemed she had a few other tables outside. The manager had mentioned she was sat many tables at once, she also seemed to be the only server, which may have been why she blatantly ignored us she had time to be in the corner rolling silverware and being on her phone. The ravioli came and after being constantly ignored we told the manager to make ours to go as we were clearly an inconvenience to them. We could hear the manager talking with the kitchen staff who were also anger as it seems they were all only scheduled to 8 and where still being there working. We could see the front and they seemed to be doing many take out orders and the bar was full. The owner stayed seated at the table behind us and could not have cared what was going on. When our pizza came out the manager had taken off the ravioli for the lack of service we had. It sucks that the management and staff here are so poor, because when we got the pizza back to our hotel it was really good! The crust was delicious and held up to the toppings of General Tso chicken. We got the deep dish which I think helped a lot. This would be a pizza I would get again at a...

Traveling thru town and decided to stop and support a local business. Stood in the lobby for 10 minutes without being greeted. When I came in there was one customer in front of me receiving an order but had some issue he wanted to speak to the manager about. The girl at the counter looked at me and walked away. Several minutes went by and I stepped into the eat-in area to ask a waitress if I was in the right spot to place a carryout order. Had to say "excuse me ma'am" 3 TIMES before she acknowledged me. She confirmed where I was to place the order and I asked for a menu to which she told me the girl at the carryout counter could give me one. Carryout girl finally came back and rung me up for a medium cheese pizza, which was almost 50% more than the price in their menu via Google. I started to ask about the price and was cut off mid-sentence by the Manager who was dealing with the disgruntled customer I previously mentioned. He barked at me "THATS NOT OUR MENU! WE HAVENT HAD A MEDIUM AT THAT PRICE FOR OVER 10 YEARS!" To that I simply walked back out the door. If there's one thing that kills my appetite it's being treated like a nuisance while trying to support someone's business.
TO THE MANAGER:
Seems like yall have had ample time to update your Menu on Google. You have to know by now thatamy people will refer to it. Given your response to my question,, it's not the first time a discrepancy has occurred.
Your customer service is awful. I am surprised you're still in business. I travel nationwide and love to stop in different cities and support local business. Yall have lost a high paying, well tipping, constantly reviewing...
Read moreI have been going to Minsky's City Market for years and happily so until recently... I find the customer service terrible after my last two experiences.
My first "bad" experience happened about a month ago, my order was not made correctly.... I asked for light onions and green peppers... I asked to speak to Mgr... the Mgr comes out and proceeds to basically play with my food, he put his face directly over my pizza.. I asked him to please not have his nose over my pizza, he then picks it up and holds it to the light saying he had to see if it had too many onion and green peppers.. I ended up buying the pizza at a discounted rate..
Today I ordered a pizza at 6:30 and was told that it would be a 20 Min wait.. I got there at 7:00 No Pizza and no word... About 7:15 I finally asked if someone could go and check for me.... One of the workers went to the kitchen but when he came back he never addressed me... At 7:27 I told the crew to have a nice evening and left... When I got home my husband called and spoke to the manager and the lack of customer service continued... He was rude and and unapologetic..
Side Note: It was the same manager both times.... I don't have...
