The only reason my brother called this place was for our uncle who is 65 asked because he heard good reviews and someones pizza came hot. We were told about a 45 to 1 hour wait. Its July 5th we understood because the 4th of July happened and the air show is going on this weekend on the 6th and 7th plus had a special show for family today on the 5th with many other events. We our at the extended stay 4535 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64111 which is 0.7 miles away from this place. A pizza should be no problem. Just 1 order thin crust no crazy topping either just onion and Italian sausage. They took 50 minutes to deliver this pizza and soon as we opened the box it looked dry. We tried a corner OF THIN CRUST PIZZA WHO DOESNT. They were dry and cold like the pizza sat in the car for the entire 50 minutes. We called back and explained we do not mean to sound like bad customers but were our not understanding why a thin crust pizza came cold and we we kept patience and didnt bother them. We thought there must of been mass orders. Nope. Cory took over a phone call from a worker who would not give me his name and told me if I could not return the WHOLE pizza that it counts as damaged and I cannot get a remake or refund even if I came in. This is a shady place and I do not advise anyone traveling like we our to waste time they do have on this place it is a bummer and waste of money. Not even a discount if we come in for the new pizza for good business. Better off with dominos or pizza hut you'll get better or same. And atleast if it's cold or damaged you can get a remake and go in if it becomes a issue and call a district manager. Upon receiving my food, I noticed tomato soup in the bottom of the bag, on the sandwich and now on my table (someone failed to plastic wrap it). I called the āmanagerā to ask to refund only my $6 soup, when she put me on hold for 5 minutes with zero explanation. I called again and asked for an update as Iāve been on hold for 5 minutes. She proceeds to get an attitude with me and states, āIām TRYING to help you but itās busy! I need to know your name and addressā I then asked āwhy did you not ask me those questions before putting me on hold for 5 minutesā¦. If that information was needed to assist me?ā She then proceeds to tell me āI will not help you if you continue to get an attitude with meā. Mind you, I have not raised my voice or cursed at this point. I ask her āDo I need to come up there for my refund? Whatās your name by the way?ā The āmanagerā proceeds to laugh and say āyouāll need to come up here to find outā. So I did just that, I drove to the store for a FULL refund at this point. In person, she also refused to give me a refund and says āI need to come back and speak with the GM.ā A team member had to phone another manager to override the system and give me a full refund.

I had ordered take out from Picklemanās in Westport and when I walked in to pick up my order I was so grossed out. For starters, when we walked in one of the employees was sitting on the counter (WHERE THEY SERVE CUSTOMERS FOOD). He was just sitting on his phone and digging in his eye for boogers. I was absolutely disgusting and immediately lost my appetite. He then proceeded to be annoyed he had to put his phone down and then proceeded to touch and bag our food without washing his hands.
I checked to see if they had the order right and of course they didnāt. They forgot an entire sandwich so we had to stay and wait for them to prepare it. Once again the cashier just texting away sitting on the food counter.
We finally left and I got the courage to eat the food I paid for and noticed they forgot several ingredients of my sandwhich so had to turn around and go back to get the right sandwhich. When we called to let them know the lady argued about how she āpersonally made the sandwhich so she knows the extras were on thereā. Which was not truly the case.
When we went back to had to remind the employees to wash their hands before touching the food.
