So excited to have a new Indian food option in the neighborhood. Not fancy, but the food was delicious and served by the nicest people. We had the butter paneer and veggie korma. The sauces were a little thinner than I am used to, but they were tasty and had a good amount of veggies and paneer. The heat level was just right. We also ordered samosa chat, which I was really excited to see on the menu! Wonderful. They also gave me a bread pakora which I hadn't had before. It was great. She explained it in a way that made me think "bar food" and that's exactly what it was. If someone had a pile of these at a bar exit, they would be a hero! The interior of the restaurant is pretty plain, but it is new so they may just need some time. it seemed like a very good value for what I ordered. I will definitely be going back, and hope to try some...

Not the best but still not bad. I've eaten in 3 different Indian restraunts in 3 different states now. No that's not a lot but it give me something to compare. Shangan's rates last. It's not bad at all but it's definitely not "The Best". I love indian food because it's typically spicy and I did not get that at all. I didn't see the option of getting my meals on the spicier side when I ordered online. I don't know if that is something you can request over the phone or in person. The flavor was lacking but still enjoyable. The restraunt wouldn't be somewhere I would want to sit with my family to have that full experience. It was basic, no decor and barely any tables. The gentleman at the counter who gave me my food was wonderful and very sweet. Would I eat here again.... probably but it wouldn't be my...

I ordered the chicken tiki masala, something I ALWAYS order from the many Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The masala at other restaurants and even in the stores is more creamy with an orangish color to it. I’m not convinced I was given the chicken tiki masala at this location. What was given to me was more like a yellow watery/greasy, soup with semi-burnt pieces of chicken. The burnt chicken taste overpowered the sauce. The guy at the counter offered to remake it BUT I don’t trust what will be done to a new order when you inconvenience someone with complaints. They probably should’ve considered throwing the burnt pieces of chicken away instead of serving it and destroying the flavor...

The food wasn’t the best, some of the entrees we tried were incredibly salty; the dhaal, chicken curry and even the green basil chutney had one flavour profile — salt. I did enjoy the chicken tikka masala and the potato sabzi dish. The samosa was okay, I liked the pastry but the filling wasn’t boring. The tamarind chutney that it came with was actually excellent. My favourite dish was the aloo paratha itself, it was huge and very filling. The service wasn’t that good, they didn’t bring us water and didn’t offer tea, and didn’t mention dessert either.
