I ordered the Mixed Dried Beef Noodles with rice noodles, and wow—this dish is all about subtle mastery. The rice noodles were slurpable and silky, coated in a light, savory sauce that didn’t overpower but elevated. The slow-braised beef was fall-apart tender, loaded with deep, rich flavor—clearly simmered low and slow with all the right aromatics. This isn’t loud food—it’s food with a story and soul.
Now let’s talk about those fried sweet rice cakes. If you don’t order these, you played yourself. They come out looking like unassuming little slabs—until you bite in. Crispy on the outside, gooey in the center, and chewy all the way through. Sweet but not cloying, rich but not heavy. It’s like mochi took a trip to the fryer and came back with a glow-up. Textural perfection. Absolute must-order.

🔥 Final Take: This restaurant is a hidden gem if you’re craving authentic Chinese comfort food with dishes you won’t find on your average menu. Everything feels carefully crafted and unapologetically real. Get the noodles. Get the rice cakes. Then plan your return trip on...
Read moreThis place is delicious and AMAZING!! It was clean, nice decor, and very welcoming! My friend and I were immediately seated and handed a tablet for ordering. We got the sliced pork belly, cucumber salad, spicy edamame, beef buns, spicy chicken noodles and less spicy beef noodles. This food is absolutely YUMMY! The cucumber salad was fresh, crunchy and sooo refreshing! We demolished it right away. The sliced pork was so tender it melted in your mouth and it had a that delicious crunchy top layer!!! OMG! The beef buns were soo fluffy with a savory beef filling! Delicious! The less spicy beef noodles was PERFECT! It had great flavor, the beef was soft and thin, the noodles were perfect! Not too soft and not too chewy! We also got a lychee and berry tea that was super yummy too. Altogether the food was AMAZING! The service spectacular! And we got all our dishes pretty fast. If you haven't eaten here - WHAT are you waiting for? Go eat here NOW!!...
Read moreWe decided to try this place because it was new to Katy Chinatown. There is not a big selection of dumplings but what we ordered tasted good and came out quick. The employees were working hard trying to get to everyone so that was appreciated.
The place is small so I recommend ordering everything you want at one time. You have to place your order on a tablet they set at the table but it has pictures of everything. We had to wait for a second order that we put in but at that time the place was getting busy so we understood.
We had the spicy dumplings but they weren't really spicy, the gyoza, shumai, and soup dumplings. The flavor of everything was tasty. The only issue I had was the soup dumplings are very fragile and break apart easily, I haven't had that issue at other places.
Thank you for the hard work, the staff is doing their best. Best wishes to...
