Jane's Boardwalk Pizza — Restaurant in Keystone

Delicious pizza AND THEY DELIVER WITHIN KEYSTONE!! Staying at a hotel in town for a three day event. Got back to hotel this evening SO incredibly exhausted that I couldn't bear the thought of going somewhere to pick up food. Hadn't eaten a good meal in a couple days, being outdoors in the warm weather destroys my appetite, so I kinda needed to make sure I ate a substantial dinner tonight, I have to make it through one more day of this event and I didn't want to be unwell.

A quick Google search tells me there might not be many options in town for delivery. Which is reasonable in a town with less than 500 residents, but being a big tourist spot, I was hoping there might be a couple places offering delivery at least around town, to the local hotels etc. But one after the other, all the Google results were either inaccurate, or for places that were closed, or the website said "not currently offering delivery".

I initially skipped past this restaurant because I couldn't find a website or anything from the business that confirmed they do offer delivery... however there were 2 Google reviews from fairly recently, that mentioned the delivery service (shout out to you, google review heroes!) So I came back to this restaurant's listing & decided to just call and ask them. And they do indeed deliver within Keystone, which is perfect because I, also am currently located within Keystone.

Delivery was very prompt, delivery person was very polite and friendly, and I am legitimately impressed by how tasty my pizza is. I love the flavor of the sauce, the crust is perfect, cooked to perfection. I would 100% eat here again! So if anyone else comes across this review & is in my situation, maybe it's a family vacation, you're staying at a hotel in town & trying to find food delivery after a long day of visiting Mount Rushmore and everything else around here, and you're struggling to find food delivery....I can confirm this is definitely the place you...

Don't eat here!! We wanted something quick so ordered 2 chicken fajita salads that were on their menu as coming with sour cream and salsa. After waiting close to half an hour, our pager finally went off that our food was ready. When we went to pick up our salad we were told the cook only made one. We took it and went back to our table where I discovered there was no sour cream. After returning to the window and trying to get someone's attention for several minutes I finally just called out to someone that we weren't given any sour cream. The cook then yelled across the counter that he didn't have any. Ok so this is part of why I ordered the salad is because of the sour cream. My husband convinced me to just put the salsa on it and it would be ok. When I picked up the container to open it, it was warm. I took the top off and it was steaming! I smelled right away that it was pizza sauce. I returned to the window and tried again to get someone's attention for several minutes... Everyone looking at me and seeing that I obviously needed something but no one asks or says anything. I finally just call out again and hold the container up, telling them this is pizza sauce. The cook calls out again and says he doesn't have any salsa. I ask if they have ranch and he says he'll bring it out... He then brings out MAYONNAISE!!! We got our money back and left. Total waste...

Well, the gluten free pizza tasted good BUT… there were 2 big issues.

The size was not indicated on the menu so I asked them how big it is and was told it only comes in 12” size. Why not list the size on your menu just like all other pizzas? When i got the cooked pizza, It measured only 7” and when i told the guy, he just shrugged his shoulders as in, i don’t give a hoot….the dough is premade and it is a 12” dough as he was cutting conforming it with his cook in the back, i told him there is a big difference between 7 and 12 yet he just kept saying it is what it is. $21 The website indicates their business hours are until 8:30pm, yet he shut the window, put on the closed sign on and started counting down the registers even though his ice cream shop attached to to pizza shop was still open and customers waiting to get ice cream as he’s just counting money and watching you tube...
