McDonald's — Restaurant in Kokomo

Our order began: 1 4pc Happy meal the clerk interrupted and asked '4 pcs of what?' I continued chicken nuggets with fries, gogurt, apple slices, root beer to drink the clerk asked what size of drink? I continued saying the size that comes with the meal. The clerk said ok, is there anything else. I said yes..1 small water, 1 large half cut ice tea with extra ice the clerk interrupted you want 1 large ice tea 1/2 unsweet tea with 1/2 sweetened tea in it with extra ice? I said yes and continued 1 mcdouble & med bundle..the clerk asked if my order on the screen was correct. I said no, the 4pc mcnugget meal is to have fries-gogurt & fries so that correction was made. The large 1/2 cut tea is with extra ice so that correction was made. That made the entire order correct. I paid less than $9 for our order and was handed a receipt for a checked wrap plus 2 items that was for $6.52. Proceeded to the window to get our order and the lady read off our order exactly as it was to be. We left to go home, we live in Peru. The order was incorrect and not to our satisfaction! Chicken nuggets were room temp, the French fries were dumped upside down all over the happy meal, no apple slices, medium fries were room temp and soft&limp, got a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickle.we are EXTREMELY disappointed in the service from the staff at the windows, preparation of the items orders, getting the incorrect receipt, not receiving what we ordered. Went through the drive through and ordered 4 six piece chicken nugget happy meals. I got home and two of the happy meals were missing the chicken nuggets. I called and talked to a nice lady named Amy. She said she would refund me and give me my 4 happy meals. I get there and there is a manager named DAYTON behind the counter. I told him what had happened and he said “It wouldn’t make a lot of sense to refund your money and give you the happy meals” I tried explaining to him what I had been told and he just ignored everything I said and was so rude. “He kept saying it doesn’t make a lot of sense” then the jerk refunded me 2 six piece nuggets and not even the full two happy meals. What kind of kid wants to eat half a happy meal? The answer is they didn’t eat the other half because they were upset they did not get their nuggets. If that doesn’t make sense to this complete unprofessional moron then I don’t know what does. If this is a manager in training then they need to hire better people. I call the lady Amy again. I go in and she takes care of it. Then she tells me Dayton is real “sorry” even the Dayton is standing at the Fry station and can’t tell me he is sorry himself. Shame on...

This was probably the absolute worst/shadiest visit I have ever made to any McDonald's anywhere. Me and my husband had just gotten back into town. We wanted to go out grab a quick bite and he wanted to sit down to eat with me. He suggested McDonald's as the inside was still open. Sure enough it was but now I wished I would have picked somewhere else with a drive thru. As soon as we walked through the door the temperature was absolutely freezing inside, so much that my teeth were chattering. We were looking at the menu when an employee told us that it would be cash only. That was fine with us. She didn't even put the order into the system. She wrote down the order and typed it up on her phone and told me the total. I was never given a receipt.

This doesn't even begin to touch on the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was a complete mess. There were used coloring pages and old cups on multiple tables. The drink station was filthy. Nothing was stocked and the trash was overfilling and spilling onto the counter and the floor. The floor was sticky and looked so disgusting. I will never go back.
