We just moved to Kyle and this was our first visit to Marco’s Pizza. We arrive d close to 2 PM on a Monday. We were the only ones there during our visit other than employees. We ordered a Medium Deluxe pizza, but they did not have unsweetened tea which is what we usually drink so we said we would just have a glass of water. We didn’t know that he was charging us for 2 Aquafina bottles. I feel he should’ve let us know how much the water was going to be and let us decide on a beverage rather than just rang up two of them . I told the cashier that I didn’t have any intention of buying 2 bottles of water, he just said “sorry about that”. The pizza was brought to us in a box with no silverware. Of course, it’s very hot when it first comes out of the oven. First I want to say that it really is not an indoor dining experience, except that they give you a table and chair to use. Second, although I did like the dough/crust, I do not like canned mushrooms on my pizza. Actually, I don’t want anything from a can on my pizza. The pizza really wasn’t bad, I would ask for light sauce and extra cheese if there is a next time because I felt there was more sauce (watery, flavorless canned tasting sauce) than cheese and I would just get it to go. Apparently, there are discounts available for ordering online. The pizza was not cut evenly so we had two giant pieces and of course no knife to cut it with. We ate the smaller pieces and took the bigger...
Read moreFair enough place. Paid 24$ for a medium pizza, bread sticks, and 2 drinks. New place near walgreens and goodwill, been advertising sell throughout kyle. -The place is clean, but it is new still didn't take long to get our food they greet customers when entering -pizza was decent, the sauce wasn't really flavorful, the cheese looked like from the cartoons when you take the slice of pizza and strings of cheese will cling to the rest of the pie, attention catcher for onlookers -the bread sticks were good enough, not great, not bad either -Service was Ehhh, not great and not bad I understand it's slow and you will have your conversations in store as an employee but some people don't like certain words said too loud as it is a family environment, I really don't care as long as I understand there are slip ups and as long as it isn't directed towards me or family, but I know some do mind so I'm just putting this out there for those
Overall more like a 2.5/5, decent place, would I come back here? Doubt it, pizza is lacking in some areas and service is barely below average, if anything I'll just order delivery if my dominos or papa John's isnt open. Came here for...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting business. They eliminated positions for drivers who earn most of their money from tips. It's okay if you're going to eliminate positions, but you don't hide the fact for months and then notify the employees 4 days before you're going to take them off the schedule, and then act like you're doing them a favor by offering them an inside job to 'help management' while making less money. These people who they blindsided have children, these people depended on their income, income that included tips, not an inside job where they can split tips with everybody else why they are relegated to being helpers. Not to mention it is the start of the holiday season and for many rent is due two days after having their positions cut with absolutely no time to find a new job. This franchise owner does not care about the community that he has placed his business in, he does not care about the people who live in the community and who worked for him and he doesn't care about his customers because farming out his delivery is going to cost the customers more now. But that's okay he's going to make more...
