I was so disappointed in an in-store experience I had today at Dairy Queen. The person who took my order wasn’t too friendly, but I thought maybe they were just super busy so it was all good. I decided to wait inside because I’ve only done the drive-through for the last several years. It was clean, but it just looks like it had this layer of age that they couldn’t quite get rid of. But the nostalgia kept me from really thinking too much of it.

My real issue happened when my order was ready. There was a lot of shouting of the staff back-and-forth to handle orders, and I was reading a book waiting on my food, so I did not realize when the shouting turned into my order number. Instead of one of the staff politely asking me if the order was for me, a boisterous rude customer yelled at me to see if it was my order. Then he made a joke and started heckling me. Instead of stepping in to mitigate anything, the staff just laughed with him at me and made him of me. I was so embarrassed, and after so many years going to Dairy Queen, I didn’t expect this. The team here can't seem to follow simple instructions even right as you tell them something I ordered a 4 piece chicken meal they gave me 3 and the lady who took my order questioned whether or not that's what I ordered and made me show her my receipt then they gave me a whole extra 4 PC meal instead of just giving me 1 extra strip so that went to waste. We were passing through on the way back yo canton ga had a nother 2 hour drive ahead of us and asked to have our kids ice cream cones in a cup so we could leave, said it multiple times they even responded to it and still couldn't get the simplest thing right so we had to sit there even longer for the kids to eat their ice cream before we could get back on the road. After a little visit and exploring the entire city of LaGrange I decided to stop by this place because I felt a bit hungry and I wanted to eat and cool myself off from the long walk. I was greeted by some very amazing and happy employees. They were very willing to take my order, and this isn't really common in reality but in this case this did not disappoint me one bit in terms of customer service. I got the Flamethrower Burger with a side of fries and a soft drink. The burger was delicious and fresh at best. That's all I can think of for the burger. The fries were very delicious and crispy! The soft drink wasn't watered down and yet the atmosphere was great. There wasn't one thing I can complain about about this location.
