Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Lake Delton

The first bite was so good, I was already looking forward to the next time we'd go.

FINALLY, somewhere does a Philly cheesesteak right. I cannot emphasize enough how much FLAVOR is in these subs. They cook the hot toppings like an actual restaurant (not in a toaster oven) and the smells sinfully waft around the place until you're drooling like a cartoon coyote around a coop. I usually include pictures in my reviews. I am always embarrassingly too focused on stuffing my face.

I've only had Jersey Mikes a couple times, but I decided to take a chance and try the Chicken Philly (bread does NOT get toasted) the other night. It was lacking, a lot. Not to mention there was no effort to try and make a cold sandwich into a hot one with the grill they have. They have no toaster, but everything could have easily been thrown on the grill to toast. We stopped in for a sandwich today. The sandwiches were great. The service was fair. I only have one complaint. The music was so loud I couldn't hear what my husband was saying to me or the people making my sandwich and I did have a hard time understanding the one that was working with us.
