This place truly exceeded my expectations! We went here to treat ourselves for our anniversary. We picked Tuscan Tavern & Grill because the food looked great, a little fancy, but completely affordable. They start off by bringing complimentary bread to your table. We got the most delicious spinach artichoke dip as our appetizer, it tasted so fresh! With your entrees you can get soup or salad. And the portion sizes for the entrees are great. We ended with tiramisu for dessert, and this was the best tiramisu I've ever had! We had a very nice waitress (I believe her name was Nicole) and she was incredibly attentive to us. We went on a Friday night, which was of course busy, and she constantly checked in on us. She let us know there was a large party there that backed up the orders in the kitchen a bit, but that was no problem for us because we had to let all the other food settle before our entree. Finally after appetizer, entree, dessert, and drinks for two, our bill only came out to $64. Personally I think that's a great deal for all of that food, the amazing quality, and the exceptional service. As we left, every single employee we walked past made a point to tell us to have a good night, all with a smile on their face and in the friendliest tones. I would highly recommend going here because you're going to love the food and feel like you're the most important person in the world. So glad that we chose this place for our anniversary and we will definitely be returning! **Edit: they had no idea we were here for our anniversary and still got treated great. Observing our waitress, she was treating all of her tables like this. Clearly how the team is...
Read moreI stopped by here after my abominable obstacle course race this morning. The guest service manager at Fairfield inn, Darlene, highly recommended it and I am so glad that I listened to her. After parking I walked to the hostess stand. There were two guys talking in Spanish and I didn't want to interrupt. A beautiful hostess came from the stand and asked me if I am waiting to get seated. I said yes and I am just looking for food to go. Hostess, her name is Susan, directed me to the bar. I figured that I will just order food to go but here I am an hour later hanging out. The bartender, Brittany, is super friendly and a perfect amount of social and professional. She just moved to Lake Geneva a few years ago and is loving the small town community atmosphere. As I was sitting, waiting for my food I met some very nice people and had great conversations. Susan also stopped by to make sure everything was going well and it I told her it's perfect. The atmosphere was so welcoming that I decided to stay and have my meal here. The food is great and the service is top notch. If you are ever at the bar, Brittany is the perfect bartender and makes everyone feel very welcoming. Shout out to her as well as Susan for making my experience unforgettable. Also thank you to Rob and Tom for hiring such a great staff. With these people, your tavern is the place to be.
P.S shout out to Sara who came over to bring the water and even brought out lemon, lime and orange as done options to go with my water.
Thanks everyone at Tuscan Tavern and Grill. You guys are...
Read moreAugust 2021: This is an update as we went back to Lake Geneva in August for two nights and had a lunch here. We were dumb enough to have our dinner at another Italian restaurant that was lousy. So, we walked here and had lunch on Saturday and it did not disappoint. Hubby had the alfredo and I had the meatball sandwich. Meatballs were amazing flavor and so moist. I did want more sauce and that made it perfect. Got fries and their homemade chips as there was a mistake on the order. Both were great. We continue to come back to this place and are always pleased!
March 2021: In town for a quarantine vacay so staying in a villa and doing our own cooking. Broke the quarantine for a take out dinner from here and glad we chose it. Didn’t take photos as we attacked it as soon as we got home. Can’t say enough about how friendly the gentleman (manager?) was that answered the phone and took our order. Super friendly and helpful. We loved the dinner and had enough leftovers for a second enjoyable meal. My husband had the Diablo Shrimp. It was spicy as advertised and I was glad I did mot order it as too spicy for me. I did the Country Rigatoni and loved it! We also had fabulous desserts. The flourless chocolate cake was so decadent and perfect. The cheesecake was light and enjoyable. Our only critique was the bread was so so. But that is authentic as we said the same thing the entire time we ate in Italy. Great place. Am glad they are surviving the pandemic. ...
