Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

If I could give a zero, I would. I have had no issues when dining in due to all of the servers being incredibly nice. Unfortunately, today I ordered off of Doordash for pickup/to-go. I am pregnant so I had my boyfriend with a screenshot of the order on his phone pick it up for me. When they claimed that someone else picked it up. I called the store number and the lady who I spoke to claimed that there was nothing they could do, so I spoke with a manager. She had the worst customer service and needs to be either fired from this location or demoted to something else. She had the worst attitude and claimed that I could not pick up my order due to me "not being a dasher"? I went in person with the order literally on my phone and they still claimed that someone else "picked it up and dropped it off at the wrong house" clearly adding more information for some reason that they had not told me before. She then claimed that they have a "trust system" where people can just pick up the order on the shelf with no proof that they are a dasher or not. I was told to call DoorDash customer service even though I did and they would not pick up the phone which was needed to give me a refund. I would love to see her fired or reprimanded in some way, I have not had as bad of customer service and sincerely hope the phone call I made was recorded.

Pros: Great service by cheery personality employees. The Food, tastes GREAT... IF you like their food menu choices [I don't like many of the menu items... because of "1" ingredient! ... see my cons]. It's a great place to gather with friends & family and to watch sports on their multiple TVs... they have them in the bar side & in restaurant side. They, also, have some highchairs for the little ones in the restaurant side.

Cons: In my opinion, It's high priced, for the amounts of food you get. Food is usually almost hot, though, I can't remember how is was this last time... Unless you get something served on a skillet platter &... In my opinion, there's TOO MANY dishes served with those NASTY TASTING "black beans", that the waitresses or waiters say "I can't remove them from the dish" and Chili's doesn't offer other beans, like pinto beans, to have instead of those NASTY TASTING "black beans"! There are many of their dishes that my friends, family & I "Love" that Chili's offers but, they put those bad flavored beans in them & it just wrecks the flavor... so we pass on them. Our, check is smaller because of it too. I know I can eat elsewhere, but we really like the place & the food dishes... that DON'T have those...

I am writing this review on behalf of my 82 year old father who does not have the knowledge of how to post a review. My parents have gone to this restaurant at least once a week in the winter while in Havasu for many years. Because my father has a life threatening heart condition, he has a very particular and restricted diet. Thus he goes to the same restaurants and tries to have the same server each time who knows his order. Chili's has been very good overall about accommodating his dietary restrictions. However, my parentd will no longer be frequenting this business. Last week my father's order was burnt and he complained. This week the server stated that the cook refused to make the meal he requested (and has received for many years). Then the server who knows my father's dietary limitations presented him with his order which had clearly been sabotaged. While the cook is clearly at fault the server was complicit thus it no longer feels like a safe place for my father to eat. Thank you for reading all the way through!
