Where do I begin? FOOD- My wife litterslly took 2 bites and threw It away.(literally) She normally is not picky, in fact she has always told the kids to eat it and be thankful you have something to eat. The rice was not cooked, it was hard and crunchy, the chicken was tough and way overcooked, like it was recooked from yesterday.
My food was not much better I did at least manage to eat half of my meal before I threw it away. (LITERALLY) I agee with my wife the chicken was so overcooked and grisly and hard that I feared I cracked my tooth :-(
SERVICE- The only good part was a man trying to do the work of all those that was present and supposed to be working. And he did it with a smile. 5 stars for him and his attitude. However the blatant lack Lustre effort and lack of caring from the other employees again brings his efforts to 1 star. There was a lady on the cash register who would just stand there would not move from the cash register to help the gentleman in any way. Another lady who we think and assume was the manager was walking around aimlessly like she was looking for something to do. Did not acknowledge the line of 8 waiting to be served. Another employee came out of the back and just mingled around the hand washing sink. All while there was ourselves along with about 8 other people standing in line. There were 4 people that came in for their to go order to pick up and none of the to go orders were done or ready. The place is a need of some severe oversight, and training, The tables were dirty. I could probably go on but I think you get my point the manager should be fired the owner needs to take an active interest in that store and spend some time in their training. I leave this review With hesitation as I myself own multiple restaurants with 35 years experience. I realize how hard it is to find help and keep help but I also realize the effects of is poor operations. I will definitely never return to this store, But I have ate at other chipotles and have been pleased With the service and the food in the past so it is not a reflection on the chain itself But rather only this location in Lake Havasu Arizona. If the owner happens to see this review, please revamp your training and oversight. Another thing that I found strange was at the top of the hour the person making our food just walked away without saying anything to wash his hands as instructed by the manager. While there was 8 people standing in the line behind me. When I inquired with the gal at the cash register she said that is the procedure at the top of the hour all employees must wash their hands. Great in theory but if they're gonna walk away they shouldn't inform us rather than just walk away in the middle of making our food and better yet finish waiting on the customer they are making and then go wash your hands before they take the next customer's order. Again, they all stood in line to wash their hands, where they could have rotated out to wash hands as sink was available and between customers. Again if there was more than one employee working it would have seemed much smoother If I could leave a negative review I would. And I rarely leave reviews. We were there I believe January 20th 2023...
Read moreI typically do not write bad reviews but after working for Chipotle for 8years and working for several locations I feel the need to speak up. I didn’t even know what chipotle was until I moved states 10years ago. Started working for this amazing company and learned so much about the food with integrity, about 13 characteristics on which we look for when we hire someone to be apart of our amazing team. Fast forward and I move back to Havasu and you can only imagine how excited I am to be able to satisfy my chipotle craving in my home town BUT more often than not I’m disappointed. From the dirty lobby, the line always being dirty and bare, and always being out of something. I understand things happen but the customer service and food lacks and you can tell every time. Pretty sad when half the town is disappointed when they hear chipotle because they all say the same negative comments. If you guys were to just make your customers aware of the situation like putting a sign on the door saying you are out of something and you apologize for the inconvenience, cleaning up the line after making a mess, and simply smile and make eye contact and let someone know you’ll be right with them it will make one heck of a difference. People always will remember bad service but can get over not so good of food! Remember chipotle staff this company can take you far and also can pay your way through college and for some people that is a lot more than they could ever ask for. Just simply asking for better customer...
Read moreRose and Olivia are the best! My girlfriend lost a very sentimental hand made ring in the Chipotle parking lot. We spent a few hours combing over the parking lot. We left a number with the Chipotle manager just in case someone found it. After a few days we had just put it behind us... and then we got a text message from Chipotle that they had found it! I drove right over to pick it up and learned just how extraordinary and caring the people working there are. Olivia had me take a seat while Rose drove in from home to bring the ring. When she got there, Rose explained that she felt how important the ring was to my girlfriend and took part of her day to search the parking lot for it. It's a big parking lot and she found it far from the front of the store where we had parked and lost the ring. So we know Rose really put her heart into looking for the ring. We are so grateful for the kindness and the selfless concern demonstrated for absolute strangers. Chipotle can't be paying these young ladies enough. We want to thank them and wish them the happiest...
