Wendy's — Restaurant in Lake Township

Service was quick and friendly. The dining room was exceptionally clean but kind of lonely due to the fact that the restaurant located too far off Cicero Avenue in the Ford City Mall property.

For Wendy's Corporate Management:

Put a Wendy's, well for lack of the correct word, a street lamp type sign on your "property" at the mall with a HUGE Wendy's sign so you can be seen clearly.

Your location "stands" behind Chick Filet and NO ONE IN THE "WORLD" CAN SEE YOU EASILY OR KNOWS YOU ARE THERE!!

WENDY'S IS A EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION AND THERE AREN'T MANY IN THIS AREA OF CHICAGO SO P...L....E....A...S....E MAKE THESE ADAPTATIONS SO THAT THIS LOCATION DOESN'T CLOSE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T GET CUSTOMERS AND NO BUSINESS!!!! HAVE A HEART FOR IT FRANCHISEE OWNER.... THEIR MONEY THEY SPENT BUYING YOUR FRANCHISE IS JUST AS VALUABLE AS I'M B....E...T...T..I...N...G T....H...E....I....R O....W...N L....I...F...E SAVING I....S... T....O.... T...H...E...M T...O.. As a religious Wendy’s customer, I never thought I’d ever post my first negative review towards this great franchise. I visit at least 3 times a week and order almost the same thing every time. When I go with family we always order our meal with a Natural Lemonade as a drink. Today was the first day “I had to order something else” with one of my meals. It turns out a 4 for 4 can’t be bought with lemonade even if you pay extra for it like I always do. After they rudely took my order I noticed that they charged me for the wrong items. I had one extra meal and the order was completely wrong. I kindly told them the order was wrong but I guess Nicole and her manager took it as an insult. They rudely asked what did I want. I told them the order again and waited 22 minutes for my meal to come out only to be wrong again. I wasn’t going to have everyone else wait even more time because some of the incompetent, rude, and unprofessional employees can’t complete their task. My wife and kid decided to just eat two chicken sandwiches instead of the cheeseburgers they wanted so we wouldn’t have to make everyone wait. I stayed by window because they did not give me my drinks. Lady opened the window and asked “what else do you want”. I told them, “I believe my meals came with drinks.” They gave me my drinks with no straws. I had to yet again wait and ask for straws for my drinks. A regular visit to any other Wendy’s takes me an average of 5 minutes from beginning to end. This time it took me 40 minutes total to get my order. I was late 20 minutes due to this. Never again will I come to this location with this type of employee. I hope this type of experience happens to...

Always check the current and updated reviews. I wish I had saw the comment about this location having roaches. My last visit was on 5/9/23. In my experience, I would describe eating here a hit or miss. When the mall was thriving, this location always was on point. Now I see that it's under new management. That explains it all. Poor management. The food that I got was alright but I noticed that the Dave's double is prepared differently. Of course, I tried to call and inquire but no answer. It doesn't look like the Dave double that they advertise. They basically gave me a double burger and the one slice of cheese was slapped on top of the other ingredients such as the lettuce, onion and tomato, pickle. The cheese is supposed to go on the meat not the ingredients. So, either this location is doing their own thing or Wendy's is cutting corners altogether. It's misleading none the less. A double cheeseburger is just that. It's not one slice of cheese put on there any ole kind of way. I will attach a photo with this review. If weren't for me reading the review about this location having roaches, I would've let them know my dissatisfaction. But it doesn't matter, I'll never eat at this location again. They were one of the last few locations that I would go to when I crave Wendy's. I will travel past several locations if need be, for better food...
