TLDR: Delicious ramen and ready quickly during dinner rush.
Ordered both ramens for pick up using their online site, easy ordering process. Got a call shortly after ordering letting me know food was ready. Each ramen comes in two bowls, one with all the ingredients and one with the broth. The ramen broth was very good! The broth is on the thick side, just something to note (much better than too thin). The special request of adding a little spice was done perfectly. There was even a little hand written sticker saying thank you, which goes to show that they care, or at the very least go the extra distance. Would like to see a second slice of pork in the base ramen as you typically get that with other ramen restaurants in town from my experience (not a ramen expert). Additionally a confirmation email of the order from online would be great.
I commend you for opening during Covid and I'm happy to have a much wanted local ramen place. I'll be ordering again in the near future.
For anyone that made it this far into the review I would like to encourage you to leave more honest reviews and not just when you have a bad experience. Without nearly as many customers in the restaurant (vs pre covid) its more difficult for restaurants to get the same level of...
Read morelovely small place for what i consider relatively affordable eats! byob so me and my bf went across the street n picked up some beer and seltzer :) nick was a very nice server w a good sense of humour, the fried chicken was amazing, loved it w the tartar sauce and lemon, very juicy. my bf got the tonkatsu ramen and quite enjoyed it while i got pork cutlet curry! we both really enjoyed our meals, and while i think next time i will stick with just the curry and rice with maybe an egg on the side as i ended up sharing the cutlet w my bf :) all in all, very good, relaxed and small and quaint. cant wait to come in again
edit 09/25: one of my fave curry joints . affordable compared to a lot of places, karaage is crazy good as always, and the ground turkey in the curry is truly a gamechanger. so relaxed and i wish i stopped in more often but when i do i get the hug i need in their curry with some...
Read moreService was 5 Stars. Food was 1 Stars. Overall 2.5 stars. Ordered appetizers, two rice dishes, and one ramen. Chicken curry was curry sauce and rice in one lunchbox, and the chicken in another. Flavor-wise it was good, but containers in each were half-empty. Should just put the chicken on the rice, cut the price, and it would make a decent lunchbox. For the ramen, at regular price, it costs $13 for merely noodles and broth/sauce. You must add charges for the extras (meat, corn, egg, etc). What bothers me is that you to add ingredients, the bowl could cost up to a $20 bowl for ramen. I'm not sure in the long run this model will last. I am hoping for a change. During the current times, it must be hard for a restaurant to survive. But not all of us have the means to support them. I'm hoping this restaurant ups its game, and deliver a little better product and keep the high...
