Literally no on in the back counter. Waited minutes no one came up front. Bye.RESPONSE Correct I was on the phone, After I made eye contact with you,I put the phone down, and looked at you until you looked up to say “hello” And you did not look back up. You put that cup down and went back to the table and didn’t look up at all since. I as a customer was not going to go and physically get you from the back to make you go to the front to the counter to purchase a coffee. AND THATS HOW IT WENT. 👏🏽 so don’t be surprised that I wrote a review about this because THAT is not how to treat customers. By looking at the reviews I see this place has a RUDE streak. 3Rd response. ** Again. How would you have known I got off my phone if you never looked back up and went to the back?? You make it seem like I was touching the front door, when I was clearly right by where you have your bags of coffee. At that time that you were doing your packaging the other customer was also trying to get your attention. And that’s where I decided to leave. Best wishes on...
Read moreSimply wasn’t good coffee. Ordered an iced latte and it was tough to finish. Also feel like I need to comment on the experience overall as the barista who took our order was a little rude (which seems like a similar experience to others and reading some of the business’s replies - literally haven’t seen a business owner respond so impolitely to some of the reviews, yikes). Asked simple questions about the menu and got sharp answers back. No one else in line, pretty slow day so not sure how I can justify the attitude. Just didn’t get good vibes as a customer and that’s what they should be going out of their way to do. My advice as a small business is to understand that every first time customer who walks in your door and orders a coffee, turns around and says either, I’m coming back again or never again. It’s gonna be the latter for me. Just seems like it could be a better run place for a variety of reasons and there’s too many other better, friendlier coffee shops even in the...
Read moreI was in the cafe recently with my partner and we felt very uncomfortable when the barista called my partner my “chaperone”. He said he was giving, “major chaperone vibes”, I’m honestly still confused by this comment. I’m an adult in my mid twenties, I don’t really see how this is appropriate. Then my partner tried to order an iced macchiato which the barista informed us didn’t exist (which I’ll be the first to admit coffee isn’t a hobby, profession, or passion of ours, so we don’t know all the details and limitations to how every drink is prepared, like a barista would), but the way he spoke to us was very rude and made a snarky comment about how we should go to a place like Starbucks instead. The only reason I’m writing this is for future people who might experience this type of behavior here, you’re not crazy, and I believe you. If you still want to go here, I’d recommend any tea latte they make, they’ve all been...
