Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Lakewood

I left one review but I do not see it. I feel the need to post another one. My mom and I went to the Colorado Mills Jimmy John's because we didn't want to go to Subway. I should've known before even going into the store the experience would not be good. There was SO MUCH trash scattered around the front of the store and off to the side it was disgusting. This is not the owner's fault but it is the owner's responsibility to let the CAM know about all the trash and to get it cleaned up. The last time I was at this Jimmy John's I ordered the largest sandwich to split with my Mom, turkey, with chips and it was way less than $20. This time I ordered the same thing only it was $20 and I didn't even order chips. The sandwich was $15 and $4 for cheese. Seriously?? It took at least 20 minutes to get my sandwich, freakishly s l o w. They served the people who came in after me first. Plus I noticed they were very busy making sandwiches for online orders. The online orders were coming first. That's not right. Finally I asked where is my sandwich? They said we're understaffed and trying to sort through all the orders. Really? How about serving the people in your store first, and in the order they came in. The online orders can wait. IMO. After we got home the sandwich didn't even have the sauce I asked for. I don't know what was up with the staff today, but this was the worst experience I have ever had at any Jimmy John's location. None of the the staff cared about their jobs and we waited almost 10 minutes to get our sandwiches which were both wrong. Two people on staff had hair all over the place and no one seemed to know what was going on. They even asked us what one of the sandwiches that we ordered was even though the have the ticket right in front of them. It bums me out that people could have so little pride in their jobs when I have had a 15 year old make my sandwich before I'd finished paying for it at...

Hit or miss with the sandwich crew. Pretty sure this most recent time they were stoned and ready to sleep standing up. Had to repeat my order 3x, correct them as they made it, and then ask 2x for my extras at the end after they had finished my sandwiches and walked away. Food itself tasted fine, just sort of appalled at the service. Another time I had to talk to a manager because two girls had put on gloves and then had a wet willy fight...in front of a customer.
