Was so excited to see that this restaurant was finally open again. We planned on eating at the market street Cafe but saw this was open. We all ordered the oxtail fried rice. Something we been craving for years since they closed before the pandemic. Food was bland, literally no taste, the rice was not the same rice from previous. They used short grain sticky rice with cause the fried rice to be mushy and generic. It was like they used left over rice from 3 days ago and made this. They useto use long grain premium rice. And it made a big difference on how it turned out. I forced myself to take a few more bites and tried to ignore the mushy texture of the rice in my mouth just to taste the oxtail but then again it really didn't have any taste what so ever. The char Sui needed more color and it was not tasty enough for me. I give it a 5 out of 10. Poke was good until I got tired of the sauce maybe a little unagi (eel) sauce added would have made it better. The servers were sweet and funny If I ever went back I would only go if someone paid for my free meal because free is what's it is worth. I would've been a little happier if they still served the shrimp chips. Shrimp chips doesn't even cost much if they bought it Uncooked and fried it for their costumers. This post is not to bash the restaurant but to give them and honest costumer review in hopes that they can revise the menu and make changes to want customers to keep on coming back. Oh and having Thai tea on ur menu...

Food: Oxtail Stew OG Poke Nachos
I noticed looking at photos that the rice that comes with the stew had furikaki. Whew! I like plain rice with my stews so I ordered it plain. The stew was ok. The Oxtail was definitely tender. It came with 3 bones and the stew was ok. Something was missing.
The Poke Nachos were huge!!! Good portion of Poke and won ton chips. And the drizzled sauce was equally as delicious. I enjoyed every bite, and I would come back just for this.
Overall, the menu selection looks delicious, and I want...
Read moreSave your money and eat at Aloha Specialties or the Market Place Cafe. The food at the Noodle House was horrible. Kalibi rib plate, there was so much char on it, it was like licking a grill grate. It might have tasted okay if the grill wasn't so dirty. Spicy garlic chicken, was fried in old oil and burnt. This should have been thrown in the trash, not my plate. Oxtail stew, Luke warm with cold spots in the oxtail itself. Clearly a day or 2 old fresh out of the refrigerator. Steam rice that was crispy and no Kim chi. My husband observed the manager picking his teeth and then garnishing plates to be served. Saimin was good. Server was pleasant and accommodating. Very...
