This place is hands down the best coffee and sandwich establishment in Las Vegas! Went here for the first time last week. Got the Roasted Veggie Sandwich and an Iced mocha with oat milk.
First the sandwich was perfect, (Roasted red peppers, zucchini, caramelized fennel, arugula, tomato, balsamic red onion, gremolata, and sautéed mushrooms with Spanish Cold press olive oil on Focaccia bread) for $12! Absolutely the best sandwich I had the whole week I was in Vegas!
Now on to the Coffee, I had an iced Mocha with oat milk. The espresso tasted rich and mixed perfectly with the chocolate and Oat milk. Wish I would have been getting coffee there the whole week I was in Vegas.. As someone who travels and frequents coffee establishments all over the planet, it’s so refreshing to see a place that takes pride in their Food and Drinks. They use high end ingredients, but at the same time doesn’t overcharge their customers. If I owned a cafe, it would be just like this one! I look forward in coming back next time...
Read moreWe came here one day after having tried "Iwana Café" just next door.
To keep it short, Iwana Café was better on following points:
• Coffee quality and preperation was not as good as at Iwana. Probably too much milk for a Latté, so coffee flavour was rather plain. Temperature was OK. Crema however was more rough, less long-lasting and cups not evenly full. • Avocado Toast were rather plain in taste as well. • Staff were cold, not friendly (not rude though, just really cold). Staff at Iwana were the opposite. Warm and welcoming. So it made you feel more comfortable and cozy sitting around at Iwana than here. One + for District Deli is that they have outside seating, which Iwana doesn't have.
Overall, CP value not as good as Iwana. Quality is one step down for basically the same price. So, if you are in the area and need to choose between both, I would recommend...
Read moreI was downtown in the arts district of Las Vegas and I wanted to try a new spot so I decided on this cool little coffee shop. Upon walking in, there are a few seats where you can sit outside, but parking is absolutely horrific. It’s located on the corner of Main Street and Utah and traffic is definitely consistent. You’re definitely greeted as soon as you walk in, so I can’t complain about the service. As far as the coffee goes, I am a coffee drinker. I love my espresso and I was hoping to get that punch of espresso yet sadly, I was disappointed. Onto the breakfast sandwich, it was OK at best. In my opinion, the aïoli is delicious just overpowered the sandwich and I’m not sure arugula belongs on a breakfast sandwich unless you have something like candied bacon to balance it out. Hey just my...
