So tonight we decided to visit the arts district kitchen after reading many positive reviews and watching videos on YouTube. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my partner ordered the pull pork sandwich.
Food came out and looked presentable. Started eating into the chicken and after getting a good way through it I realised it was thoroughly undercooked. More than that it was fully raw. The thoughts of food poisoning while trying to get a long haul flight back to Ireland had me really upset as I am due to fly home tomorrow.
I brought the chicken sandwich back up. The server brought it back you the kitchen and apologised. I wasn't happy with this I wanted rh to acknowledge they sold me raw chicken. They refused. I then asked for raw chicken back they also refused.
Then the chef manager came out. He was condescending and riled me up. He verbally acknowledged the chicken was raw and said the staff member that cooked the chicken was dealt with and then continued to say that I should be grateful that he came out to apologise to me. He could have just stayed in his kitchen. He then compared my experience to McDonalds and said McDonald's wouldn't do it. Difference is McDonald's have quality controls in place. It's clear the Arts District Kitchen does not.
Receipts attached to prove this is a genuine review.

Read moreUnfortunately I was more focused on my date than I was on the atmosphere and the food, but I did enjoy and will happily be back at some point in the not so distant future! The service and atmosphere was absolutely phantasmagorical! They had a nice bar. It should also be noted that this place was throughouly packed, virtually every seat at the bar and tables and booths were packed to the gills, which is generally speaking a very very hopeful sign that the establishment you're about to eat/drink and be merry(hopefully on the latter 🙃) I forgot what the ex girlfriend got but she liked it and I also remember liking it. Ahhhh that's right I had the eggs Benedict and it wasn't "traditional" but it was great/wonderful/blissful etc etc. Great place for a date esp if one is into electronic danc3 "music" 🎵 or just EDM. A great place that makes downtown worth checking out and making it a regular "go-to" can't wait to try the burgers and...
Read moreVery high quality ingredients and non-frilly menu which I love. Person working at the counter was nice. I ordered a Cobb salad and grilled cheese and they were better than you would expect (especially for the price) but a random guy’s bahn mi sandwich smelled so good from several seats away that I know what I am getting when I come back. Of course the beer from Able Baker was fantastic but this addition to the brewery is great because sometimes breweries have weird or overly expensive food and this place was nice and I liked the general theme of “street food”. I don’t know why I am saying this but they seem like they need a wiener schnitzel sandwich on the menu or bratwursts with beer cheese or some sort of German street food because they seem like they would do a good job of it. I can’t wait for the surrounding neighborhood to grow more businesses so there’s more foot traffic around and reason to be in the...
