Absolutely HORRIBLE Customer Service!! I'm embarrassed to say that, as I am a local. I feel horrified for our tourist's that come visit our city and get this treatment!! First, there is a customer limit inside the store. Understandable during these times, however the elder lady at the door opened the door to inform us that we had to wait. 2 people leave the store, nothing. 2 more people leave and she finally waives us in through the glass, but can't open the door for us, like she did when we first got there? It wasn't because of distancing either, because she wasn't distanced in the store! #2, we get our 2 items and get in line. We wait for approximately 13 minutes in line, 1 family ahead of us, but there was a couple buying half of the store (no joke) at the register (only 2 registers are open due to the restrictions). Instead of continuing to work off of the existing line (like the were), they open the second line, and the young associate instructs the people behind us to get in that line! Then starts taking those guests first instead of the people already in line, whom had been waiting for 15+ minutes??? What about the couple in front of us that had 2 kids and were next??? We waited in line, no joke for 25+ minutes!!! I had a Starbucks order that was in the window for 30 minutes(time stamped). My family all work in Customer Service based jobs, and this is not the way we were trained to treat the Guest's that patronize our businesses. Read moreI’ve had multiple bad experiences at this store. I visit frequently because it’s the closest Disney store to me, but each time I regret returning.
They don’t seem to treat employees well or at least not all equally. One of the recent times I was there shopping, they were having a staff meeting out on the floor. I overheard a non-white male express a concern about how he was treated unfairly in a situation, the part that left me floored was how the woman leading the meeting completely ignored him and didn’t even acknowledge him. Definitely felt like a racial injustice situation. Aside from feeling like some of the staff here is rude, they have a ridiculous policy of not providing bags for purchases. You are forced to purchase one of their bags, unless you want to walk out of there looking crazy carrying all your purchases. The price for the bag isn’t the problem. It’s the principle. Nevada isn’t part of the no bag law states, so it’s just to nickel and dime customers. On my last visit I returned items that I didn’t gift as planned. The first thing the associate said was that I could return everything besides the bag. I didn’t care initially what happened with the bag, but to have a policy forcing customers to purchase a bag and then not accept it to be returned is asinine. Also customer service has been so bad. Wow, I can’t believe how rude the cashier that rang me up was and it was not busy at all, but she acted like she had a line out the door, we were the only ones in line and she still managed to over charge me and again no one has let me know what’s going on, they left a voicemail with no details after I called and pressured them to give me a refund. They never apologized for the inconvenience or the mistake they made out of carelessness. I even told one of the “cast members” that no one seems to care that they charged me 30$ extra and she just said “yes well I don’t know anything about it”. Hire better representatives for Disney or a store in general that deals with people. I shouldn’t have to see rude faces when I’m spending my money...
