Whew! A long drive and tons of traffic, we finally made to Las Vegas to swap our rental car, due to be rammed in the side by a deer. By the time we finally made it to the Hilton Grand Resort on the Strip, we were beat. So we decided to grab a quick bite at Waves.
It was busy but we (self seat) found a table at the far end. A little odd as we were fully dressed and most patrons were in swimsuits. In a few minutes our waitress came with menus and waters. My wife chose the Southwest Chicken with fries and I opted for the Boulevard Burger with onion ring upgrade.
After a bit our orders came, and a wonderful surprise - a container full of condiments. I suppose the packets are safer and easier to handle in this area. Both sandwiches were excellent, hot and tasty, as were the sides. We were both hungry as breakfast was now 7 hours behind us.

Read moreThis was my worst meal by far during my week stay in Vegas. I regret wasting my time eating here. The girl bartender has NO concern for your enjoyment or satisfaction. The service was extremely long for it being pretty empty, the food was no better than a lunch truck from the old days. If you have no idea where to relax and have a meal fight your urge from eating here. They should re-staff this place. Waves Bar has a great setting for an awesome meal at the pool but not with this staff.
I ordered chips with salsa and guacamole and I promise you the chips are a cheap bag chip, the salsa is terrible jar salsa and the guacamole is a masses produced packaged style, how do they charge so much for this LOW quality appetizer

Not 4 or 5 , because she interacted with 7 different people who weren’t ahead of me. She gets a solid 2 because by no means is she a lazy worker. When a customer wants food , a rude server is distasteful. She needs to be managing people , not serving guests.
