Nowhere Lounge — Local services in Las Vegas

My guy and I are Vegas locals and went to Nowhere Lounge to see our friends play jazz last week around 8 pm. The hotel itself was beautiful and elegant, so I had high expectations of the lounge.

Unfortunately, the vibe inside the lounge could have been better. Throughout the night, men lit up cigars around us, which smelled really bad and was very distracting. You'd think they'd know to go elsewhere (like a cigar room) to puff on those things, because they really spoiled the vibe (and air quality). I'd hoped Fontainebleau restaurants and lounges would be smoke-free, but sadly, I guess not. By the way, the Fontainebleau website very clearly states the only place smoking is permitted is on the casino floor. So what gives?? Maybe you need to retrain your staff so they actually enforce the rules.

The other thing we didn't care for was the pool table sandwiched in the middle of a walkway right by our table. The rowdy and drunk people playing pool next to us frequently bent over and stuck the back end of their pool cues right in front us while they were making a shot. At one point, one of the drunk women started doing push-ups on the carpet in front of our table. I think the pool table should be moved to another area where it's not in the way, because even though we tried to adjust the position of our table so it was as far away from the pool table as possible, it really didn't work.

As beautiful as the lounge was and as great as the music sounded, I feel the vibe has some ways to go here. I suggest they create a section inside the lounge for smokers if they don't get rid of smoking altogether, and move the pool table where it won't ruin the experience of other patrons.

This lounge is now my favorite place in all of Vegas. I cannot get enough. The heart of the entire place is the incredible music brought in by Mando each weekend. You can depend on the perfect “Old Vegas” experience every Thursday-Sunday. He’s meticulously curated entertainment that aligns perfectly with the ambiance and vibe of this mid-century dreamland! It’s what makes this place above and beyond. There are so many lounges in the city that have perfectly coiffed decor and a beautifully curated atmosphere, but they fall short because they end up succumbing to the same old entertainment that can be seen in any tourist trap in Vegas. Nowhere has it going on in every aspect with the entertainment Mando has carefully put together. It brings in both locals like myself and tourists from all over because it’s THAT GOOD! It’s put this lounge on everyone’s radar.
