Bc Bistro And Lounge — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Extremely disappointing. We were excited to try the restaurant and the crispy brussels sprout appetizer. We also spotted what we thought would be a fan favorite of the chicken bacon quesadilla. The appetizers arrived between 20 to 30 minutes later and we put in our lunch order. We were able to determine in about a bite of the appetizer, that both were soggy and luke warm. The crispy brussels sprouts were in fact, just some side of brussels sprouts that looked steamed with cheese and they informed us that the quesadillas were cooked on a flat top, which would not be a problem if they had used any sort of oil that would make the exterior in way crisp. I notified staff immediately, and while they did offer to remake them, we did not have time to further delay our day. we were looking for a great experience and instead found food that could be phenomenal if cooked properly, and extremely dirty mirrors in the booths. It's located inside the double tree hotel. Food was good but totally overpriced for its portions. They should do better portions for the prices they are charging. The reason to give 2 stars is my friends who stayed at the double tree had their meals here twice and always paid with the card. For some reasons the waitresses made me pay cash saying my card is not going through which i had to go around to the atm machine and withdraw in order to pay cash. Was this a forced way of having tips? To date i don't understand why they did so. And they actually asked if i was leaving the change as tip. Which i was however going to leave as i do leave tips even if paying by card anywhere! While the same card i used the night before at some other restaurant also used it at a supermarket just 2 hours before going to BC Bistro and Lounge for dinner and 2 minutes after leaving from here i tried to use the card at a bar next door and it worked. Staying at the Rosemont Embassy Suites by Hilton. We were looking for a new place to eat and heard about the DoubleTree restaurant. Wandered over and decided to order their chicken sandwiches for TAKEOUT. Mr. Abderrahim took care of us! Exceptional customer focus and service. Next time we will eat there! The food was excellent. My husband had the crispy breaded chicken sandwich; I had the chicken grilled (w/o breading). Melted cheese and coleslaw topped the chicken and it was in a brioche bun. Juicy and succulent, tasty, and delicious! Highly recommend! We didn't wait very long. Walked to the Embassy Suites and the food was still hot. Thank you, Mr. Abderrahim and to your staff. Our customer experience was fantastic because of you.... your kindness and humor! Since we spend lots of time at your next store sister hotel.....we will see...
