Ordered an item online. Paid online. Received item and it had color marks all over it. Patent Leather jacket. It was shipped in a plastic bag. Anyone who has any knowledge of furs and leather knows that plastic ruins the item. Called the store to get help regarding purchase. Was given an online number to call for customer service. Called the number and was having a hard time understanding the person on the other lines. Did not speak clear English. Called the store back to see if anyone could help me and was told the online is a separate company that has absolutely nothing to do with Saksoff5th the store. When asked for a Manager the manager came to the phone and explained that they could not help me because it is a completely different company. Asked how I was supposed to rectify this situation if the person I am trying to speak to does not speak clear English and I can not communicate with them. The Manager proceeded to tell me I was discriminatory in my comment. And that they donât tolerate such behavior. Iâm sorryâŚâŚwhen did this manager start signing my paychecks. I do not recall working for him. So let me get this straight. I have to wait 3 weeks for my refund for an item that was shipped to me and not acceptable and can not communicate with the online customer service representative because they do not speak clear English. And I am the one who is discriminatory because told the truth. So I should learn to speak another language to accommodate the people that are the customer service representatives for the stores that I order from. I already speak and read and write 3 languages. And I am not going to tolerate someone being rude to me because they are disgruntled. I can spend my Money Anywhere I Choose and I will choose otherwise. If Saksoff5th can afford to lose revenue then so be it! Good luck getting customers to buy when you have terrible customer service. Bankruptcy is just around the...
Read moreI was visiting the store here with family. I found an outfit on clearance that I liked for my daughter, I took it to the checkout and the âmanagerâ there accused me of switching the tags on the item. I spoke to him and told him that his accusation is very unprofessional because I did no such thing and that no way to speak to anyone.
He talked back and said I wonât get an apology from him and snapped his fingers at me. The store manager here displayed the most upsetting example of customer service, he says his name is Jonathan (unsure if that is his real name).
I would request the HR management team at district level to revisit this store and maybe offer customer service training to this manager or penalize him for his attitude. The company needs to have proper procedures in place to monitor appropriate protocol for training on basic doâs and dontâs with customers. This individual has absolutely no manners and does not deserve to be in a leadership position. Leaders set examples for a company, and are calm and collective in the most difficult situations.
On a side note: I was also disappointed that he again being a manager was the only person unmasked at the store.
Saks off fifth, please hire carefully! This makes the company name...
Read moreI ordered a dress online which was $170, when it arrived it was defective. I went online to do the return, it asked me why Iâm doing the return so I selected from drop down menu âdefectiveâ. It then gave me the option to do in-store or mail return. I chose in store. I printed the ticket which had all the details on it and took it to the store. The âmanagerâ Matt would not even look at the paperwork, immediately said they donât return defective items at the store. He didnât even try to be nice or apologize which got me worked up. I explained that I have the paperwork and he wouldnât even listen. Extremely unprofessional (appearance wise as well), rude and angry. He also refused to give me his last name. I have shopped there a lot and spent a lot of money but will never ever go back there again. The staff is unfriendly and the manager is definitely not manager material for ANY establishment. I will also be writing to corporate about this and I never write negative reviews. So you can only imagine the negative experience I had. Go to Bloomingdales instead, amazing staff and ambiance...
