I visited Kings Dining and Entertainment on April 2nd. I booked a corporate event for 8pm to 10pm and let’s just say I did not have a good experience. I spent $600 on what was supposed to be a fun time to celebrate my Fiancé Birthday.
I completed booking prior to the actual event and Rebecca did a good job with making me confident I chose the right place to celebrate. The experience went left after that. Beginning at arrival. After checking in at the front counter where bowling shoes are stationed.
The lady behind the desk told me my lanes were 5 and 6 and that someone would come over to us to get our shoe sizes. Mind you the party started at 8pm. We met our host Saed and he took our drink and food orders while we sat and waited for someone to come take our order bowling shoes. It was at 8:38 pm when Saed said you have to go to the counter to place shoe order. I’m confused because when I was given my lanes I was told someone would come get our sizes at our table. That is 40 minutes wasted. Mind you, reservation was for 2 hours.
Around this same time our food arrived. Our host sat our food in back on a table behind our seating. That would have been fine had this not been a high traffic walkway where everyone walked back and forth freely and provided food coverings.
Well one of the pizzas I ordered was knocked down due to this high traffic area and people walking pass. Not to mention on our second round of drinks he also placed the drinks there. Never did he notify us the drinks where there. I asked about my drink and he said “oh it’s over there.” I said no please remake this drink as it was left unattended for how long I’m not sure.
That is a definite no no especially for women to leave their drinks unattended especially one I didn’t know had arrived from when I placed my order.
By this time I was frustrated and highly irritated as I finally just got my shoes and food that has been dropped on the floor and my unattended drink order.
I feel my party was rushed because we pretty much had an hour and 20 minutes to bowl.
We didn’t even complete a full game. I paid $600 for a rushed party.
Well fast forward to the end when I received my final bill.
On the bill was the pizza that got pushed off the table in the back by other people not in our party, secondly the unattended drinks I asked to have remade because Saed just sat them on the back table without informing me.
This bothers me because our host had no interest in resolving the issue. After spending $750 in total for an experience that was supposed to be memorable all I have is complaints.
Our food should have never been placed in back of our table it should have been placed by guest. If it had to be on that table behind us we should have been provided with coverings.
I’m am completely not satisfied . This is and idea on my experience/ what you may experience at Kings Dining and...
Read moreIf I could provide this place zero stars I absolutely would. We were seated around 10pm on a Saturday night which was understandably busy. Waited for almost 15 minutes before the server Jas even acknowledged us, which we had to grab her attention. We placed our order for food and drinks as soon as she was ready. Another 20 minutes passed we still had not gotten drinks. Again had to flag the sever down to see what was the hold up. She stated that there needed to be manager approval for the drinks because there was a substitution request, at that point we asked for the drinks to just be made without the substitution which did come surprisingly fast. Another 20 minutes pass and still no food. Again we flagged the server to see what was going on. She stated the she was going to check with the kitchen. She came back and stated that she found the issue and that we never placed an order. When reminded of what she ordered she stated "yes got it, you’re right" and went back to the kitchen. ANOTHER 15 minutes went by and still no food. At this point we decided to get the general manager involved Angela, which was extremely unpleasant. We advised her of what was going on, and she stated that she would check with the kitchen. After waiting so long the food was not even wanted anymore. 2 minutes later the food comes out. At that point i asked if it could be removed since we no longer wanted the meal she very rudely rolled her eyes and took the food back and removed items. You would think that would be then end, but unfortunately thats when things got worse. As leaving the general manager came back to the table asking if we destroyed the plastic menus used to scan the QR code. When I told her it had been broken since we had sat down and she rudely yelled that it had not and since it was broke we need to leave the establishment as if we were not already leaving. As a Gm when has it ever been acceptable to confront patron at your establishment confrontationally after them expressing dissatisfaction with the establishment. I hate to play the race card but that is exactly what happened, even two of the hostess mentioned as we were leaving out that she always has an attitude when a "certain people" are dining in. Which is completely unacceptable. I will never be returning and wouldn't recommend spending...
Read moreWhere do I start. We went today on March 30th to go bowling it was 8 of us and we had the most horrible experience!
FIRST ISSUE: EVERYONE PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!! No server was coming to our booth, so we went up to the bar ( bad idea) the guy who was working there was absolutely horrible. He had an attitude from the beginning of the conversation. We usually keep the tab open, but closed it out right away. When we checked the receipt he added himself a 20% tip without our consent!!! We asked him why he added himself a tip and his answer was “ it’s mandatory “ um sir that’s stealing? We told him to take it off if not there’s going to be problems. Finally with an attitude he took it off. Who even does that?!
SECOND ISSUE: We did bowling for 2 hours so around an hour in finally a server comes to our booth asking us if we wanted drinks. We went there to have a good time so we decided to get more drinks, which was a bad idea because the drinks were disgusting/super watered down and took about 30 mins to come. When we were done bowling we waited around 15 mins for our server to come, but she never came so we went up to the guy ( the rude bartender…bad idea again) I’m assuming he was pissed off because when we went up to ask him to please call our server so we can close up the tab he looked at us and said “ oh I don’t know that’s not my issue I don’t know “ and he walked away!!! There was another employee ( young guy with glasses) who was by the paying kiosk and he saw how rude the bartender was to us and he came up to us apologized and he personally went to find our server for us.
I’m just extremely confused on how this establishment can have this type of person working there. He was working there today March 30th we got there at 4pm and left around 6:30pm . He was the only bartender there. If the manager can have a serious conversation with this employee because this is serious and then I would like the manager to please reach out to me regarding this situation. He’s lucky we didn’t call the cops on him for trying to steal money by adding his own tip without our consent. I wonder how many times he got away with stealing from people because most don’t check their receipts. My family and I were regulars and would go every weekend, but after today’s encounter we definitely...
