A lesser known fact about me is that I am absolutely in love with coffee kiosks across the West. On a road trip, I will literally order a mocha at one, drive two miles down to the next and get a pastry or, heck, another coffee! Out of the hundreds of huts I’ve driven through none are as fascinating in design as the Lighthouse Coffee Company!
You can’t miss this one guys. It’s located right off Highway 101 travelling south. The building is absolutely adorable. I mean it’s a lighthouse! It truly adds to the coastal ambiance.
We stopped here on our way out of the coast. There was only one person ahead of us who ordered a ton of drinks and only one person was in. I ordered a 20 oz nonfat hot almond joy mocha ($5.50) and a classic breakfast burrito ($5.00). I originally wanted a veggie burrito but they were out. Oh, whale. No biggie, the burrito was fabulous as well the mocha! I’m pretty boring and stick to my usual nonfat vanilla latte. I guess I felt adventurous or whatever today. Honestly I have my suspicions whether the barista correctly made it nonfat because it tasted way to good to be so. I guess what you don’t know doesn’t count, right?
You should definitely take the time to visit this adorable little one of a kind kiosk. There are so many along the 101, however none really do stand out like...
Read moreI Hate to give a small business a bad review but it was pretty bad, and im a comcast customer so you know ive seen some stuff.
Really long wait in line for 3 cars ahead, but the service was friendly and quick once i was there though so that was good.
Ordered bacon breakfast burrito and black forrest mocha. The burrito was completely glued to the wrapper, so the tortilla was inedible other than the few pieces i was able to seperate. The eggs and potaotes in it were good, but the bacon was some kinda weird, gritty and mostly fat pieces idk what that was.
Coffee was weird too. Really really bitter, like too much cherry flavor or something and for some reason the cup was only filled a little over half way. I thought i was being pranked. Paid $12.50 total so im guessing a $6 burrito that was inedible and a 6.50 coffee that was 1/2 filled and gross. So...
Read moreI've read reviews about how sweet the coffee is. Either get your taste buds checked or understand that if you order a coffee with a candy name within it's title, it's going to be sweet! Ordered a milky way mocha and love it. It's what I was expecting and the breakfast sandwich accompanied with it was delicious. Quit whining about how there is only one person people. Be appreciative that they're there busting their tail to keep the service going for all. Look up "The Great Resignation" and realize how many people are quitting because of the amount of unnecessary BS they handle. Cheers to anyone and I mean ANYONE showing a good work ethic and providing service to the public in this era. Know I appreciate you all at the...
