Anna Thai Basil — Restaurant in Lincoln City

Wow. Truly the best traditional Thai food that I’ve ever had. The flavors were insane. I would go here every day if I could. Our server was so wonderful - friendly, chatty, and recommended pairings that complemented each other perfectly. It’s been a few days and I’m still floored by how good the food was. Just go. Please. We had the Duck Curry and Larb and …the noodle dish that’s under the Pad See Ew. 😂 Please run here!

That said, the woman who kept coming out of the kitchen (Anna maybe? Not sure) was SO incredibly rude to our server. It was embarrassing and awkward, and killed the upbeat ambiance that our server brought to the room. She shushed her loudly, yanked things from her hands, and passive aggressively cleared the table when our server was helping us pick foods. It was awful. I really hope our server (I wish I could remember her name - she was the only one there, managing way too many people by herself) was given the tip we left her which was 100% the cost of the meal. It was more than well deserved, especially with the horrible work environment she’s in. To the woman treating her this way - do better. *Edit: oh my God!! I ate here last night and was so impressed with how clean the food was and how fresh it was (and delicious, so I came back here once more before I headed True North, (guided by Him) and it was even more delicious. It was literally one of the best meals I have ever had. There is so much flavor, and the guy that was working today was so great to have a conversation with as we shared a lot of the same background as personal trainers, manual laborers, dog lovers.

Place just has a great atmosphere.*

This place is open again, I'm not sure why Julie Masters would leave a two-star review just because the place is closed for construction, but wow, some people are so nasty nowadays.

I came in, and it was packed, and it smells so amazing, and the gal that took my order was kind - instead of being rude and selfish like Julie Masters.

This is some amazing food! I can tell that cute young gal felt bad that it took longer than she said, but she needed worry her little heart, I appreciate her service and the hard work they were doing in the back as best they could and it was well worth for this...

My family of four visited Anna Thai Basil for the first time today as part of my daughter and my birthday celebration. We each ordered different entrees; The I Love Broccoli with chicken was excellent! The Salmon dish was excellent, the drunken noodles with chicken and the wide noodles with veggies were excellent! We also enjoyed the salad rolls and peanut sauce. Anna, the restaurant owner, greeted us and visited with us a bit until more customers arrived. Anna is very pleasant and has a great sense of humor! When we mentioned to Anna that we are celebrating birthdays today, she gave us a free Mango Sticky Rice and it was delicious!!! She informed us that everyone who visits on their birthday gets a free Mango Sticky Rice and a free drink! Overall experience...
