Big Boy — Restaurant in Livonia

Let me start by saying I want a big boys so bad that I drove an hour to get to this big boy because there wasn't one by me and there's so much regret in that decision my son and I both wanted to get the soup and salad bar as I've expressed to my son how the soup is the most delicious soup you'll ever get unfortunately know my some things Big Boy serves the most disgusting soup because well it was disgusting the salad bar had no salad in it the pasta salad was crusty they look like they hadn't put a new food in there all day they had no fruit there was literally like six or seven pieces of honeydew melon and that was it the salad dressing was all over the place I mean the restaurant was actually just got staying looks like they hadn't cleaned the place all day our waitress was incredibly rude there was an older couple that came in after us that actually left because of how disgusting the salad bar was the soup actually had a crusty film over top of each and every one of them we'll just not something you want to see when you're getting ready to eat at but actually on my way to urgent care cuz I think I might have food poisoning it was just an all-around awful experience not to mention they charged us for a full size meal for my daughter who ordered off of the kids menu they didn't give her a scoop of ice cream because she ordered breakfast I guess even though the waitress originally told my daughter that she would get the scoop of ice cream with her meal I ordered one sunny side up egg and they charged me for two because apparently they cannot just make one. Going to top it off the waitress was actually throwing food at the people in the back we was just ridiculous we watched a couple of girls walk in as we were sitting down they stood there for about 15 minutes before someone told them they can see themselves even though it specifically says wait to be seated. But I'm not here to speak for anybody else just myself and my experience is terrible we had to ask for refills on our drinks for five times before we had to ask a different waitress to fill our order that's $60 I'm never getting back yes it cost me $60 for two salad bars that were absolutely atrocious a waffle bacon one sunny side up egg that was too and an order of chili cheese fries yeah oh by the way the chili cheese fries didn't even arrive to my husband until after everybody else is already done with their meal we asked for a veteran's discount if they had one they completely ignored us didn't say if they had one or not just completely ignored us so that was nice I guess that was my last time in my life ever going to big boy because that left a terrible terrible taste in my mouth literally and...

Very bad customer service (or should I say any service at all). My elderly parents walked in while I parked the car. They sat themselves. No hostess to seat them. Sat there with no menus. Waitress brought menus. When my parents got coffee with cream, no spoons. My daughter came. We switched to a table because booth too small. The air conditioning was on, blowing on us. We asked to have it turned off. Could still feel it. Assistant manager never checked on us. We got up and went back in the dining area where it was warm. Assistant manager said heat was on by salad bar. She said this in passing. We got to a booth and just sat there. No one made eye contact with us. When we asked for a server, they said they would get him. He was off the floor. A lady that was done with her shift came and took our order. Then we did not see her again. Different people delivered our food and I had to snatch someone to refill my father's coffee. Came there at 8pm. Did not get waited on till after 9pm. When one waitress came after we finally got food, she said it got confusing when we kept switching tables. She stated that at least we got to eat. Throughout experience, no one managed to have eye contact with us. Salad bar was not full. They did not refill the melon container that whole time we were there. When the cucumbers ran out, a plate was put over the opening. This restaurant seemed good back in December, 2014 when we went there. But now, I will not visit this location again. Very bad. I felt uncomfortable the whole night there. It was like we were just a nuisance...

We order the big boy burger- It’s my go to and still tastes as good BUT too pricey even with fries- and they are inconsistent with the serving of french fries that you get. Last Friday I got a sparse serving and on Sunday I received double of what I got on Friday ( see pic)- The onion rings are ok but you taste the breading more than the onion-

$16 for soup salad bar😳🥸 you can’t even add it to a meal without it costing$7 - remember in the day when it was $1.99 and then went up to $3.99😂

Service is hit or miss- Today, we had terrible service-The girl was unfriendly and curt- my grandmother is 86 years old and loves everyone. She says hello, how are you? I hope you’re having a great day and you couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge her. Wait until people are seated not while they are walking through the restaurant to ask them what they want to drink- Three minutes isn’t enough time for an old lady to look at the menu and decide what she wants. To roll your eyes and be impatient because you had to leave the table 2 times because you kept coming back before she could make up her mind … you forgot multiple things that we requested. Never came back to ask us how our food was or even offer refills of water.- you only got a tip because my grandmother is very loving and very generous- look around you and notice the clientele you get in your restaurant and if you are not patient enough to serve them, then you are in the wrong business-
