My biggest takeaway from my couple of experiences here are 1.) the service is phenomenal. The staff is always going above-and-beyond to let you try their unique flavors of ice cream, etc. The line is usually decently long, but the wait isn't bad and if you already made it to the line, you had better stay because it'll be worth your time. 2.) This place is expensive. Not crazy, ridiculously expensive, but it ain't cheap, either, so even if you and one other person want to get a scoop of ice cream, each, plan on spending over $10. Milkshakes are ~$8, if I recall correctly. They have bougie soda, too, in bottles, here, or if you want water, they have cups for the, too. You can also buy their ice cream by the pint. The ice cream is different, though, as they have a lot of different flavors you wouldn't find just anywhere and it's all good stuff. Parking is not on-site, unless you get lucky and find the metered street parking right in front of the location. There is, however, 3 parking lots/garages within a couple of blocks, that you can park at and some are free after 6pm, on week days, I think and some are free for 90 minutes, so you do have free parking options.Oh, another thing, is that they make the waffle cones freshly, on-site, with a waffle maker, so that's cool. Would recommend this...

However, I’m rating it 4/5 due to how long it takes to place an order.
The owner needs to hire one more worker (I’ve only seen two at most) that can help run the register &/or continue running in the back to make more ice cream. Way too often you’ll be held up in line because one of the two workers need to go in the back to catch up with the product in between every customer.
And place a limit on how many samples a customer can try when about to place an order. Every time I’ve been here I’m always waiting an extra 5-10minutes because the family in front of me wants to take their time trying every. Single. Flavor. Place a limit or have the worker help speed it up by just getting a small sample of each flavor quickly.
The workers are always friendly and knowledgeable of their product while moving in a quick fashion. The ice cream never disappoints. I haven’t had one bad flavor yet. And the value for the product is definitely worth coming back.
But there needs to be some changes by the owner so they can speed up the time of wait without putting more stress on...

Second Long Beach Creamery location after the original in Bixby Knolls. If you're familiar with the original location, it is the same but in downtown. If you are not and this your first time going, prepare to be treated. The ice cream is handcrafted and uses ingredients from local crafters and restaurants such as The Pie Bar. The staff is very friendly and is very knowledgable about each of their flavors that they offer, including where each of the ingredients in each flavor is sourced from. As the flavors are handcrafted, the available flavors rotate each day. The only downside to this new location is that it can be easily missed if you are driving by and, unless you are savvy about which parking lots downtown are free for the first couple hours, you may end up paying for parking. However, for literally fresh and amazing ice cream, take adavantage of this...
