A Dreamy Escape with Fresh Seafood and Breathtaking Views!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review:

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the picked fish in Long Beach, Washington, and I can't help but give it a glowing five-star review! From start to finish, my experience at this restaurant was absolutely dreamy.

First and foremost, the location of the picked fish offers unparalleled beach views that will take your breath away. The sight of the ocean waves crashing against the shore created a serene and picturesque backdrop, making my dining experience truly memorable.

Now let's talk about the food. The picked fish exceeded all my expectations with their incredibly fresh and delicious seafood. From perfectly grilled fish to succulent shrimp, each dish was a flavorful masterpiece. The chefs here truly know how to bring out the best in seafood, and every bite was a delightful culinary journey.

The service at the picked fish was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made me feel like a valued guest throughout my visit.

Adding to the already magical atmosphere was the live music. The talented musicians created a soothing ambiance that perfectly complemented the delicious food and stunning views. It was an absolute treat for the senses and enhanced my overall dining experience.

If you're searching for a truly dreamy dining spot in Long Beach, Washington, look no further than the picked fish. With its fresh seafood, breathtaking beach views, attentive service, and captivating live music, this place deserves every bit of its five-star rating. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!

I hope this revised review captures the essence of your wonderful experience at the picked fish in Long Beach, Washington. If there's anything else I can assist you with, feel free to let me know. Enjoy exploring more amazing...

I have been coming to the Inn and Adrift for over ten years. PF has gotten less and less welcoming and appetizing over the years since the pandemic and recently I was a guest there visiting for a dear friend's birthday and that day some of us were bullied by a staff member because he was angry our group was there to eat dinner at separate tables. His treatment was inexcusable but I could understand his stress level if 1. we needed to eat at the same time/ or were being demanding which we didn't/ weren't or 2. the place was full which it wasn't, there were many empty tables throughout the space at the 4:30 reservation time (we were a very laid back group and almost all of us have worked or still work in/ manage/ own businesses the service industry in the Portland and Seattle areas), I honestly cannot believe how mean he was being to us. The two servers in the restaurant were AMAZING and we all tipped them extra for helping us feel like we were welcome there. The food was not close to worth the price and they have fewer vegan options than they used to. The reality is they have a monopoly out there since there is no competition so these reviews won't likely change their practices.

Our friend group has had events catered by PF in the past and has spent thousands of dollars there over the years. After the way I was personally treated (no one had even asked us for our drink order yet and he was literally yelling at me to get my order in like I was his employee) by that staff member, I will never step foot back in the restaurant, but I do wish the rest of the staff the best because they were absolutely stellar. My suggestion would be to work on how that staff member talks to costumers (we were NOT rude, and honestly trying to understand why he was so angry with us). The Portland/ Seattle restaurant world is actually a close-knit community and it's always best to have a problem-solving attitude when dealing with customers rather than assume...

I have never been so disappointed about a restaurant or the food quality. My husband and I give the 1 star for the location and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Its on the 4th floor so you get to see the beautiful ocean. the inside is just perfect. That's pretty much it. But very unsatisfying with the food. We ordered coffee. we got sour coffee. the server couldn't even find a regular spoon so we can stir our coffee. She gave us soup spoons, no napkins and then she asked if our son would need utensils to eat. well yes his wasn't going to use his hands. This is my first time ever leaving a restaurant review because it was that bad. I cant even give a star for food. We ordered eggs over easy. But we got well done eggs and they looked like they were just bathed in oil. Our "crispy" potatoes came in as soggy and no flavor at all. My husbands dish was probably the only dish that had some flavor. he had eggs in a tomato sauce but the eggs were also well done instead of medium. My dish was probably the most disappointing ever. I ordered dutch baby pancake with blackberry compote and cream. what i got is no where near the dutch baby pancake. I ate it because i was hungry and no other place was serving breakfast already. My pancake tasted like rubber no flavor. like they just used a instant powder mix and added water and that was it. Instead of my blackberry compote i got caned peach and apples on top. not one thing had flavor. We asked for salt and pepper and i think they kinda got shocked. It was cheap either. We paid well over $50 and plus they also charge you 18% for something that makes no sense at all. Its not worth the money and the service was not great. our server kept forgetting we were there. I will never go back to this place again....

So I am not a chef or a food service professional. I like to cook and I like food. But this meal just compelled me to leave a review. My wife and I are guests of the hotel and this was our room service option. I ordered the pork schnitzel entree (comes with brussel sprouts and potatoes) and split the marinated & grilled small gem salad. We got a couple of Diet Cokes to go with. The grilled salad had a fried egg on top that had a nice runny yolk but the egg was burnt like the pan was too hot or the oil was burning when they made the egg. The salad itself was ok but the egg made it unpleasant to eat. The pork schnitzel cutlet was decently crisp but was huge (like I love a big meal but it was too big for me). The oil it was fried in was old and you could taste it. The cutlet itself wasn't trimmed of fat so we got a couple bites of grizzle which was unpleasant. The brussel sprouts were boiled and then weirdly charred to the point of acrid. They weren't seasoned either. The potatoes were ok but they weren't dressed or seasoned at all. The mustard gravy was ok but I couldnt taste the mustard at all even when I could see the mustard seeds in the gravy. We couldn't finish the pork schnitzel entree, it was off putting and at $27, it is a pricey dinner for bad, unseasoned, & burnt food that we couldn't finish. If that wasn't enough, the Diet Cokes we ordered were 8 ounce bottles that we were charged like $5 each for. The tip was automatically included (%20) which is fine but for the steep cost of everything and the quality of the food we got, it felt like a rip off.
