I am a Starbucks junkie. I've used more reward points than is feasible. Even when I say I will take a break a new challenge comes along & I just participate. I & my Cuzn went 2 this particular branch becuz we were on that side of town. Our order was placed. When it came time 2 pay our cashier totally blew us off & offered 2 finish helping the other patron in the other line. I became miffed & said, "hello, we were next...she is finished with her order & her cashier is helping her". She rudely said, oh I was just going 2 assist her. So I said, but we are waiting here & can use the assistance, she is finished. Then she said oh, well I didnt know. I shot her the nastiest side eye look!!!! Of all the stupidest, dumbfounded things U could say!!! Why in the heck would U NOT respond 2 the person right in front of U 2 help another individual who is clearly already assisted. That was an absolutely absurd thing 2 do!!! I truly had 2 keep my Cuzn calm as well...she was prepared 2 unleash her potty mouth of wrath upon that female cashier. The area and atmosphere outside can be a bit sketchy at times due to the homeless situation, but the inside and the service are really nice here, especially the look since the remodel/upgrade. Still no bathroom though 😕 but it's a really small location with no seating area. I assume due to the locale and being right across from a metro rail stop, it would get trashed which wouldn't be good for them or other customers anyway.
I really love how personable some of the baristas are here, and it's what keeps me coming back. Also because it's the closest location to my home 😊 Rebekah is super sweet and friendly. Nadine (I think that's her name... maybe one of the sups or shift managers) is also really nice. I miss Ronnie, he was one of the first ones there who was always very friendly towards me. Read moreThe service was extremely slow today. They were obviously short-staffed but when the third person arrived to "save the day", his attitude was way too casual. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you're waiting patiently for your drink and the staff instead of quickly working on them is joking around. Things only went downhill from there. I watched the barista grab a dirty rag to wipe the outside of my cup before serving it to me. I wiped it with a clean napkin and left only to have the drink spill all over me as soon as I tilted the cup due to a loosely placed top.
