BonaVista Lounge — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Great food, great atmosphere, great location and great views.

It's a little bit tricky to get up here depending on which Tower your room is in.

When I got here, I was seated right away and requested a window seat which they had one available. When I sat down, I started looking at the menu and then when I looked up, the scenery looked different LOL I didn't realize that the restaurant rotates before coming here. But that is awesome. You get a really good 360° view of the city which is great and I went at a time that I was able to see the sunset over Los Angeles. The food menu is a little bit small but overall there are several good things on the menu. The Miso soy Salmon is what I ended up getting and it was worth it. It was a good piece of salmon and was extremely flavorful. Hanover all the wait staff are helpful and friendly.

Overall, this is a great restaurant if you're staying in the hotel and looking for the best...

Made a reservation for 10:45pm on a Thursday night which was listed as an option and confirmed through OpenTable. Showed up 15 minutes early to find out that they had already closed the lounge even though their hours are listed as a 12am closing time (Apple Maps) and 11pm (google). I was not expecting to be able to have dinner, but to at least have a few drinks. Made me wait at the lobby with my wife for 20 minutes before taking us up just to see a server there tell us that everything was already closed. Thanks for wasting our time on our anniversary night, very much appreciated. I’ve been here multiple times and won’t be coming back after dealing with that server who quite frankly wanted to close down and get the f out of there as fast as he could. Do yourself a favor and go to “18 SOCIAL” for a MUCH better time ! Please...

This review is for the bonavista lounge, not the steak house. Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not get food here. It was the worst food I’ve had in a very long time. I ordered a smash burger. There was nothing “smash” about it. The bun was stale, onions rubbery, and the meat was definitely once frozen in between paper and other patties no doubt. I had to send it back which, I absolutely hate doing. I could barely stomach one bite. My husband ordered the crab and edamame.
