The Galleria is in desperate need of revitalizing, most of the stores and restaurants are shuttered, and appear to have been in that state for several years.
While the architecture of the building is still a marvel - a walk through this massive 6 floor complex may take you down memory lane to March 2020, when everything was closed. In fact, some businesses are frozen in a visible state of closing-down chaos, such as the restaurant on the top floor with garbage and mattresses strewn about for passersby to see (hasn't been touched in a year at least).
The existing amenities and businesses are outdated, if not, irrelevant. I'm not an expert on Christian Science reading rooms, but out of the many times I've been to the Bonaventure, I’ve not seen a single visitor there. Aside from that, food options are a regular sit-down higher end brewery, an affordable Korean café that serves food on paper plates, and the "East-West Cafe', which has had its soda fountain out of order for at least a year. Not to mention the interior is from the 90s - so what’s the food like?
The only convenience store is extremely expensive, overwhelmingly stocked with souvenirs and such that it feels claustrophobic, The clerk doesn’t even bother to fully unlock or open the door!

A Snickers bar cost $4.00 before our organization booked a week long Convocation, now that same Snickers cost $4.75 the day our Convocation started. It’s greed like this that puts a stain on Bonvoy - they should do better than this;...
