On the 24th floor of the @ritzcarltonla at @laliveofficial, you will find yourself stepping into a Pan American-inspired oasis surrounded by the city’s glittering skyline. 🌃🍽️✨ @senderolosangeles is a dining concept comprised of three distinct restaurants that trace a journey through Mexico as well as South and Central America. It includes the seafood-focused Corteza, the Argentine steakhouse Leña, an open kitchen chef’s table known as Volante, and an agave-based spirits tasting room called The Agave Library. We stopped by Corteza to try a smattering of delicious cocktails and dishes including Mexican tuna tostada topped with sea urchin, Bolivian ribeye skewers, and Chilean torta de mil hojas. A few notes if you plan to book a table soon: 🍴Pull into The Ritz-Carlton’s driveway, and get your ticket validated at Sendero’s front desk 🍴Enter the hotel’s main entrance, take a right, a quick left, and then you will see the elevator that brings you up to the 24th floor 📍900 West Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015 #losangeles #lalife #lafoodielifestyle #lalive #ritzcarlton #sendero

Disclaimer: food and drink here is excellent and it should be considering the very high prices. We had one large dinner here and stopped by for drinks two more times. Every single time with the exception of once the experience was great. The one time that stock with me was the manger or the person who introduced himself as the manager's behavior that made me decide to write a not all passive review. The large party that was in the restaurant to celebrate a colleague's professional accomplished were cheerful after the dinner and one older guy was playing his guitar. The manager could have approached the pain and whispered in his ear to stop playing his guitar or wait until the song was over. Clearly the whole crowd was enjoying it. But no, instead he cut through and basically told an older university professor to stop or as the professor put it to shut up. Being a manager requires a lot more and I hope he takes this review as an invite to reconsider his approach. Every other person in this restaurant were and are excellent. I wish the manager was as good.

César Ritz would definitely be proud of how much of his legacy has lived on. I was seated immediately with a stunning view of downtown L.A. I was impressed with the attentiveness of my server, although he was busy, he still kept an eye on me. I do wish he remembered my son's drink as it is included in children's meals. I ordered the Tiradito, which I thought was overkill with the citrus but the Hokkaido scallops was fresh and silky. I also had the Ribeye skewers with the "spicy" peanut sauce, but it really was not spicy at all. If you're gonna say it is spicy, you gotta bring the heat! I had to order additional hot sauce and they were all delicioso! My favorite part of my dinner was the Dia de Los Muertos dessert. I loved the surprise factor in the center of the chocolate. A truly amazing end to my dinner.

This might actually be the best dining experiences I have ever had! I don’t normally write reviews but I left here feeling so pleased that I had to write one. When you first walk in you can see how nice the view was the LA area.. but once you get greeted and get to hear about all the food and cocktail choices you can start to get an idea of what flavors you’re in for… they have a changing menu depending on the seasons so I’m excited to come back and try the new choices on the menu in the winter. Everything tasted SO fresh and so perfectly seasoned. But on top of all of it, the staff was so incredibly friendly and had given us such good recommendations. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants now. I can’t wait...
