Fabio's is a fantastic little Italian experience. It's small, but filled with culinary excellence and a menu that's big enough for variety and small enough for specialty and focus.
The fresh made pasta was cooked very well, you could feel the bounce in the noodles that only fresh pasta gives.
The Alfredo was rich and had a good sharpness to it with some subtle pepper flavor, it was so good the chicken i had to accompany it was really unnecessary, but still nice to have.
The mushroom sauce was creamy with the mushroom taste being tame and not overwhelming. I'm not even much of a fan of mushrooms but the type used or it's preparation lends itself well to the sauce.
Finally the tiramisu was quite good, big enough to share if you don't have a huge sweet tooth, but small enough that you can eat the whole thing without feeling like a gluten.
When I went here, Fabio's had 4.9 stars and boy can I see why. Great Italian food, good prices, and friendly motivated staff. It's hard to beat, you NEED to give this place...
Read moreFABIOS is a true hidden gem near the Venice boardwalk! This yummy, hole-in-the-wall spot serves incredible pasta. Every dish is bursting with flavor, and the food is so satisfying—it’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back.
It’s the perfect stop after a stroll or bike ride along the boardwalk. I always bring friends and relatives here when they visit, and it never disappoints. He doesn’t just make amazing food; he serves it with genuine care and a side of life wisdom. His warmth and compassion make the experience even more special.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check out Fabio’s. It’s the kind of place that feeds both your stomach and your soul....

Pros: beautiful location, just steps from the beach fast and kind service
Cons: the food tasted like something I would have made in my dorm room in college
A more detailed review of my dish (fusilli with basil pesto and seasonal veggies): fusilli: had the taste and texture of overcooked boxed pasta—would not recommend basil pesto: fine but tasted more like watery basil. It didn’t have any of the richness or cheesiness that pesto can have seasonal veggies: these seemed like reheated frozen vegetables
